15 Ways - Period 3, Week 3

Aly had had a rather long and exciting night.  Which resulted in very, very little sleep.  And that possibly showed either in her rather ramshackle appearance or in the class that the students were about to experience.

She waited for her students to arrive at the Danger Shop with an expression of glee and amusement on her face.

"Today's the first of your practical lessons," she said, bouncing slightly on her toes.  "It's a lesson not so much in specifics as improvisation.  You'll be working in pairs and go through a series of obstacles and keep each other from getting hurt."

Aly flipped the controls of the Danger Shop to reveal...a rushing river of foamy hot chocolate over rapids of chunks of chocolate.  Very, very large graham crackers and marshmallows sat by the side of the river.  As did mugs.  Beyond the river was a corral filled with yapping, wiggling, playing puppies who flung themselves at anything that came close to them.   And beyond that?  Was a very large wall.

She grinned and pressed another button.  Voices seemed to come from the Danger Shop.  "Oh noes!  Oh noes!"

And then the wall exploded outward as a giant creature burst through.  "OH YEEAAAAAAAH"



Aly couldn't help laughing.  It had been a long night.

She looked back to the class.  "Oh yes, and you and your partner need to bind two of your legs together.  This is a three-legged contest."

She was also being hugged suddenly. "ALY!"

And immediately pushing the strange man off her, cursing the fact that she followed the stupid no weapons rules in school. "What the hell?"

"It's me!" A beat. "Deadpool."

She blinked. Then looked again. "What happened to you?"

"Nate fixed it." He grinned like a moron and picked her up, spinning them both. "Aren't I hot?!"

Aly laughed delightedly, unable not to catch his excitement. "Very, very hot," she beamed. "Almost as hot as me."

Setting her down, Wade preened a bit. "I'd say hotter. Just look at this face! This is the face that launched a thousand ships." He paused. "And not the online naughty fanfic kind."

She reached way up to ruffle his hair. "No, definitely not hotter. No boobs. Pretty hot though." Aly smirked. "And you never know. Maybe someone out there writes about the mad love of you and N- Weasel. Or something."

"Me and Weaz?!" Deadpool made a face. "That's just disturbing."

"No!" Wade shouted a little too quickly. "Where people got this idea that me an' Nate were anything other than friends and occasional enemies is beyond me."

"Maybe because you spent six months calling him your ex," she said thoughtfully, still grinning up at him.

"I said we were divorced," Wade replied. "Not that he was my ex."

"I beg to differ," Aly teased. She eyed him for a moment, thinking of the bright flaring power last night and then a Nate walking away almost burnt out. "He managed this?"

"Yeah. Blah blah blah slave to his immense godlike powers, blah blah blah Sinister tied my cancer to his powers and when he used them it caused me to nearly die," Wade expositioned. "Second time he's done this."

"So when are we going back to kill him?" she asked conversationally.

"Nate?" Wade scratched the back of his neck. "I don't think we should kill him."

Aly stared at him. Possibly like he was a very dumb child. "No. Sinister."

Wade stared for a moment. Then remembered Aly wasn't from back home. "Yeahno. Sinister is harder to kill than me and Wolverine combined." He shook his head. "Trust me, if that guy could be killed, Nate woulda done it a long time ago."

"There's always a way," Aly pointed out thoughtfully. "Especially if he thinks he's invincible."

Deadpool patted her on the shoulder. "I'd rather not get cloned or experimented on again, thanks."

Aly nodded in apparent agreement, but it was probably just as apparent that that thought had taken root in her head. She tugged on his collar. "Do we need to go shopping?"

She wrinkled her nose at him. "Female. Boobs. It happens."
