Art 101, Period 4, Class 3 (Monday 9-17)
The classroom had been reconfigured today, with tables and chairs instead of regular desks. At each station were drawing pads, packs of good old-fashioned Crayola crayons, and boxes of pastels.
"Draw something," Steve said. "Draw anything. Have fun. And when you leave, take your sketchpad and a pack of either crayons or pastels with you, and your homework for the week is to draw me a landscape. It doesn't necessarily have to be a landscape from the island. It can be something from home. Or something you make up. So." He clapped his hands. "Get to it."

He liked to think that Leonardo was doing something equally spectacular with all the time that he's been AWOL.

After thinking for a few moments, she began drawing a jagged, harsh castle (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v328/Rellyjean/namine/drawings/06.jpg) with a rather large dragon (http://palestshadow.livejournal.com/2985.html?thread=33449#t33449) sitting outside, grumpily fuming.
He looked hungry, she thought with a slight smile.
