There had been a ~~handwavey~~ correspondance to the students to let them know to meet in the Danger Room today, though have no fear, this in no way meant there were no treats. Wilson had made Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake bars for the students to get their sweet fix satisfied. There was also coffee, tea and water.

Wilson himself was leaning against a wall with a cup of coffee in his hand. As soon as everybody was in the Danger Room and accounted for, the young doctor grinned and straightened up.

"All right then. Today is our first practical lesson. You are each going to face down an insideous opponant, one by one through that door there. You can not use force, you can not use powers. Johnny, you can try fire on the door, it won't give, it's designed to be impervious to all your powers, magical or otherwise. You must play by the door's rules."

He waited for the students to finish looking at him as if he'd grown a second head and grinned around his coffee cup.

"Yes I said door. You'll understand when you get into the scenario. Now the rules are you have three chances to make it through the door. After that, times up and either you solve the door's challenge or you loose. Loosing won't affect your grade but I hope it will make you think. Winning ... gives you bragging rights over the door. Okay, everyone understand? Then step up and you go in alphabetical order."

Picking up a clipboard, he began to read off the list.

Of course you don't have to stick to class list order, since time zones and the like. No using of powers to get past the door, the Danger Room is designed specifically to everybodies unique power strengths to withstand those strengths. "They must have other things in common besides me, right?"

Summer shrugged. "If you want to believe that, I won't stop you."

She looked at Summer. "What's that supposed to mean, Summer?"

Savannah, a bit defensive?

Summer looked right back at Savannah. "It means you'll believe whatever you want to make yourself feel better about this whole situation."

"What situation, Summer? The fact that I'm in a relationship with Johnny and Chris is still one of my best friends?"

Summer stared at her. "You think Chris is still one of your best friends after the way you treated him?"

"He's one of the best friends I've got, Summer. I was honest with him and told him the moment things changed -- just like I had promised him I would do. Do you think I enjoyed hurting him?"

Summer just shrugged again. "Maybe."

Savannah narrowed her eyes. "I did not enjoy hurting Chris, Summer."

Summer was now in full on death glare mode. "I didn't enjoy seeing him get hurt, Savannah."

And now Savannah was glaring just as much.

"I didn't enjoy hurting him and I didn't do it on purpose, Summer. It's also none of your business."

"He's my roommate and actually is one of my best friends, so it totally is my business." Summer knew it really wasn't her business, but she wasn't going to admit to that.

"Back off, Summer. What has happened between Chris and I is none of your damned business -- no matter what your meddling nose may think."

Summer narrowed her eyes. "What are you gonna do about it? Toss me into a wall?"

"I wouldn't disrupt Dr. Wilson's class -- or upset Chris -- by doing that."

It was more that she didn't want to upset Chris that she was managing to keep herself under control.

"And what if we were somewhere else?" Summer baited. "What would happen then?"

Savannah clenched her fists beneath her desk. "Back. Off. Summer." Her voice held a trace of warning in it. "I don't know what you're problem is, but you need to deal with it somewhere else than in my face."

"You should probably work on that temper," Summer smirked.

Summer should probably take her own advice.

"Now, why should I do that when I have people like you who just love to provoke it and get themselves burned with it?"

"I haven't said anything that isn't true," Summer smirked.

"Depends on your version of the truth," Savannah said, striving for a calm voice. "Petty bitch isn't a very good look on you, Summer. You should work on that attitude before someone works on it for you."

"You say bitch like it's a bad thing," Summer said calmly.

"On you it totally is."

Summer continued to smirk in response.

"Don't you have something better to do than try to piss me off, Summer? Surely there's someone else around who can appreciate the petty harpiness that is Summer Roberts."
