When students entered the classroom, they would find it set up like any normal high school classroom, complete with a projection screen covering what was probably a white board. Barney was waiting for students, looking slightly annoyed by his roster. He shoved a syllabus in the hand of each student as they entered the room. When it appeared most students had arrived, Barney began his lecture.

"This class is titled Love Smart and I, Barney Stinson, Professor of Awesome, will be your instructor." Barney looked around the room and sighed. "I know, I know, relationships are rarely awesome." He figured those from his Awesome class would agree with him. "But I agreed to teach this class so as to guide you students through the mysterious world of relationshps."

Barney took a moment and engaged his PowerPoint presentation. Images of sappy couples in love flashed across the screen along with the questions:
What is a Relationship?
Are you in a Relationship?
If so, why aren't you good enough for your significant other?
Are you a good liar?

Pointing a finger at the screen Barney said, "This is our topic for today. I want each of you to introduce yourself and tell us your answers to these questions." He looked expectantly at the group of students. "You know kids, when I feel sad, like you probably do right now as you're faced with your terrible relationship or lack thereof, do you know what I do? I stop being sad and get AWESOME instead. True story. Let's get started!"

Willow gave a small wave.

Suddenly there was a rush as Jamie attempted to tackle Willow in a big ol' glomp of a hug.

"WILL!"

"Jamie!" Willow hugged him back just as tightly. "I got your message but couldn't come you and you're back and I'm so glad because I missed you and you should've never left and none of these are lies by the way because this is not me doing the assignment as it is me saying hello. Hi!"

There are many things one can miss when in space. One of your best friend's rambles is definitely one of them.

"Hi!" Jamie said pulling back at looking at Willow. "Man I missed you. How is everything? You and Peter still together? Do you have all your highlighters labeled? You weren't hurt by that Umbridge person I've being hearing about were you?"

"I missed you too!" Willow said. Since it bore repeating. "And good, yes, yes, and no but I broke one of her plates!"

"She had plates?" Jamie asked. "Were they evil plates?"

"Pink," Willow said, as though that explained everything.

"Ooooooh!" Jamie said as if that explained everything. "So she was insane too."

"Very much so," Willow said. "She was awful to pretty much everybody! Personally I was hoping for her to be eaten by a snake, but at least she's gone now."

"Did anything else cool happen over the summer?" Jamie asked. "I've heard about the dinosaurs and a few other things."

"I think that covers the major parts," Willow said. "What about you? Did mean ol' you treat you okay?"

Jamie hesitated a bit before answering.

"Um. Not really. My plans kind of got... changed."

"Good changed?" Willow asked. She really hadn't liked older Jamie.

Jamie sighed. "It's... um. Hard to explain."

Willow looked worried. "Is everything okay?"

"Do you remember when I went off into space to help John Crichton?" Jamie asked. "While we were out there I... well your Jamie made a bunch of dupes to get out of a sticky situation. I was one of those dupes."

"I'm going to need to make another spreadsheet for you, aren't I?" Willow said as she took this in.

"Spreadsheet?"

"Too keep track of which dupe is which," Willow said, with a tone that suggested she thought everyone did this.

Jamie cracked a grin. "Rosenberg, you never cease to amaze me."

Willow smiled back at him. "I hope for my teachers to say that as well."

"If they don't, they think it," Jamie said still smiling. "Listen... this is a really long story and if there's anyone I can tell the whole thing to, it's you. Can we do this sometime soon where we can talk in private?"

"Absolutely," Willow said. "I've got your new room number and everything."

Which was, of course, going to go into the new spreadsheet.
