Today's class was held in front of the main campfire, by the cabins. There was a desk and chair for each student, and on each desk was a pen and a stack of paper. Squall stood by with his arms crossed and did NOT look happy.

"Now, I know you think I don't care about stuff, or whatever. And you're right. And you all hate me, and I hate you, and yadda yadda yadda. That DOESN'T excuse you from attending class." Squall glared at them all and started stalking back and forth in front of them.

"I'm NOT going to be assigning detention today. I'll give you three guesses why and if your first guess isn't the SADISTIC BITCH who thinks she's in charge, you're a complete moron. So, I'm going to have to be a little more creative with your punishment."

He grinned at them.

"You're out here. It's hot, it's muggy, and it looks like rain. I'm going to be in there" -- he pointed at the camp's dining area -- "with air conditioning, punch and pie, and Space Paranoids. Sucks to be you." Squall waved the DVD box at them and then pointed at the stacks of paper. "I want each of you to write 'I apologize for sucking so hard' one hundred times, and sign your name at the bottom. After you come hand it to me, I might let you stay for the rest of the movie. If you're really good, I'll let you have some pie."

He shrugged. "Jenny, because I like you, and Ronan, even though I don't, you two only have to do twenty lines. See you inside in a bit."

Squall walked away, but stopped in the doorway to the dining area and shouted back at them. "HEY! Don't get any funny ideas about skipping out of this, because if you do, I WILL hand you over to Bitch Queen."

Regular, non-magical Bics. The worst that's going to happen to your hand is a bad writer's cramp.

Abigail grumbled just a little, but started in on her lines, trying not to get too sloppy as she went along.

Ronan dashed off the twenty lines quickly. It took a great act of will to avoid adding "but my boyfriend likes it" at the end before signing his name, but he did resist. Somehow.

He did, however, sign his name with a grand flourish, for no other reason than it amused him.

It's too bad he didn't. Squall would have been amused.

When you're done killing your hands.

"Ow," Jenny grumbled. "What kind of pie?"

Squall shrugged. "Dunno. The good kind. Some strawberry, some blackberry, some whateverberry, the works."

Jenny helped herself to some of the whateverberry in hopes it would turn out to be hallucinogenic.

No such luck. It turned out to be a blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, and peach pie; Squall just didn't remember or care what kind it actually was.

Jenny pouted a bit, but was consoled by the fact that it was delicious.

Ronan stepped in, page of finished lines in hand.

"And what did we learn, today?" Squall asked him.

If you feel like it.

Jenny was there to be talked to if anyone really felt like it.

Because you're not allowed to.

The world's already ended, but hopefully it'll be patched back up soon.
