How to be Awesome, Period 1, Week 5

Again, the class was meeting in the computer lab.  They may have been surprised to discover that professor Stinson was not there. Instead, each student was greeted with a goofy grin and nod from the TA, Andrew. He was looking awesomely handsome in a black suit and didn't seem nervous at all unless you noticed that his foot was tapping so rapidly his teeth were chattering OMG.

Once everyone was seated, he stood up to begin the lecture.

Andrew pretended to wave to a few friendly faces in the class before taking a deep breath, "As you all know, most trends in awesome are defined by jet-setters -- celebrities.   Or maybe you don't know this because you are from the past or another planet.  Or maybe you are from Mehico and didn't grow up with a television or plumbing, in which case you might also not know this to be true.  And possibly you have been a tree or a rock all your life until recently and are just now becoming acquainted with the customs of human beings.  But it is true, so let us all accept that and move forward."

Andrew clicked the button to start a slide show.  "Not every celebrity is awesome.  In fact, a few are very much not cool.  Through the magique of the internets we can now delve into all the personal lives of these trend setters to discover if they are truly as awesome as they want us to think they are.  Today, you are all Awesome Investigators!  You will use the skills you have, um, acquired in class so far to find one celebrity you think is truly awesome and one who is not."

TA Andrew cleared his throat and moved to sit behind the desk at the front of the computer lab.  There was a video camera set up behind him facing the class.  "Once you have discovered your two celebrities, you must come up here and tell me and the, ah, video camera.  Professor Stinson would like to judge your answers when he gets back from where ever it is he happens to be right now.  Make sure to point out why you have chosen those particular individuals as he will ridicule you for poor choices.  These web sites may be of use to you."  The final slide was a list of popular internet websites.

Andrew looked as though he might  throw up.

[ooc: please to be waiting for some OCD. Is up!]
