When the students showed up in the Danger Shop, Phoebe was sitting on the desk in front of the class and Tori was standing beside her. Neither girl was smiling, but both of them had looks of defiance in their eyes. When everyone had signed in and sat down, a screen to the left of Phoebe lit up to show a bit of writing on it. Phoebe pointed at it.

Today's lesson is going to be more discussions on abuses of power and how abusing your power can cause your enemies a bit of hardship -- or, it can make them even more of a thorn in your side.

Today, Tori is going to be my voice as due to the powers of one who should not have them, my voice is a bit more silenced than usual.

Phoebe looked at Tori, and grinned. This was the part where things started getting fun for the two of them.

A new screen flashed up.

Today, you have two examples of abuses of power in front of this class. My voice has been spelled. Tori was also spelled. Magic was used to punish us because we did not conform to what the person in power wished us to do.

Tori nodded. "I believe that it falls directly in line with our study of how Witchcraft has changed and evolved through the ages. So, today Phoebe has decided that we're going to come up with examples of historical abuses of power. How have you read or heard of witches or magic users in history who have abused their power? Do they succeed in staying in charge? If not, how were they removed from being in charge and what punishments did they face for their crimes?"

Phoebe typed something into the laptop at her side, and the screen changed.

No one here in this class need to fear retribution by the principal for anything that is discussed in here. No matter what you talk about, none of you will be punished by our TEMPORARY principal. This is MY class and as such I have already taken responsibility for anything that comes from this class.

Phoebe gave them all a wide grin before typing more.

Just because I can't talk, doesn't mean that I can't teach a lesson or two.

Wyatt blinked and twitched. Nobody messed with a member of his family.

Phoebe came over and squeezed his shoulder lightly. She had noticed the twitch.

Adam couldn't believe that Phoebe and Tori had been punished for not conforming. That was not cool.

Adam didn't like it when someone messed with his friends and teachers.

Anders was still looking pretty pissed off, even more so to realize that Tori had gotten hit with a spell too.

But he couldn't help grinning, because wow, was he ever proud of Phoebe. Plus, she was really hot when she was mad like this . . . provided, of course, she wasn't mad at him.

Prue did not look very happy. She was proud of how Phoebe was handling the situation but her feelings of revenge were taking over right now.

Eve was trying oh so hard not to laugh. Was she allowed to talk about her own abuse of power? Naah, probably not.
