Annette didn't like meetlueff so she went with the seled and cherry pie-a.

Chad got himself a lot of everything (especially meetlueff and meshed putetues. Lots and lots of those; he was a growing boy, after all) and spotted Annette over there and went to say hi.

"Hi."

"Hi," she said staring way up to say hi. "Yes, please, sit down and join me."

She tried not to stare at his big huge lunch.

"How're you, Annette?" Chad asked, taking a seat across from her and stabbing a fork into his meetlueff to start his lunch. Cheerleading was today, right? Needed to make sure he had food for energy for that, yup.

She shrugged a shoulder, "So so." She took a bite of her seled and chewed while she watched him. Chad was a big guy; she couldn't help but stare at him whenever he was this close. Hmm. "How're you today?"

"Good," Chad grunted. "Woke up early." (Early being about three hours ago, which was better, at least than an hour ago). "Worked a little one the guitar, played with Prince Oscar Pedro...Good day so far."

"Sounds good. I had one workshop and that is it for the day until cheerleading practice," she replied casually. "I think...I might be bored though." And Annette bored was just not a good thing. "I got to think of something to do today or I'm going to go crazy." Banging on her drum last night just didn't do it for her.

"Did you have anything in mind?" Chad asked. He didn't have anything to do other than cheerleading, either, so being bored was a potential problem he, too, might suffer.

"Crap if I know," she muttered and forked a piece of pie, being all thoughtful like. "I just wanna...have some fun."

"Mmm, fun..." Chad looked thoughtful as he chewed a bite of meetlueff. Either thoughtful, or like a cow chewing its cud. Kind of hard to tell, really. What could they do that's fun before cheerleading...?

"If we wait fifteen minutes after this," he said, finally, as he swallowed, "we could go to the beach or something. That could be fun."

She seriously tried not making any faces about the meetlueff. She could just never bring herself to eat it no matter how fancy people set it up.

"Oh, I'd like that Chad," she smiled and finished up with her pie. She only ate half. "We could throw a frisbee or something?"

Hey. It was a big hunk of beef plus stuff. That was all Chad needed.

"Sure, if that's what you'd like to do. Or a football, maybe. Practise and fun, yeah?"

"Practice and fun sounds like a plan. Plus? Sun and water - it can't get any better."

"Exactly," Chad nodded. "Better'n bored, anyway."

And, after a second, he added, "We should bring the cats, 'cause you've got one, right? And I've got one, but we'll have to bring an umbrella or something, too, 'cause Pedro will get sunburn."

"That would be great. Angel would love it, I'm sure. She'll probably need a bath afterwards though - sand in a very fluffy cat is just going to be messy." Annette tried to imagine a sunburned cat. She giggled and finished her water.

"I'll bring an extra beach towel," Chad said, "and they can play on there. That should help. An' if she does get too sandy, I'll help clean her up, too, if you want."

She tilted her head, "Aw, thanks Chad. I imagine it might be difficult bathing a cat. I appreciate the offer."

"S'no problem," Chad said. "Should be fun."

Chad, however, was in nothing more than eeeee, kitty mode, forgetting about how kitties usually didn't like water, and how kitties had claws sometimes...

She nodded, grinning, "I'm going to run and get changed and get Angel together and whatnot. See you at the beach?"
