Announcements - Thursday Morning
Hades' voice came over the speakers around the school. "So here's the thing, dear students and assorted other people who might be listening. You know how in the movies and on TV music suddenly starts playing outta nowhere to suit the situation? Have you ever thought what it would be like if that happened in real life and you could hear the music?
No? Well, you'll find out today. Apparently."
Music suddenly made itself heard over the microphone and a voice, definitely NOT Hades' started singing.
"I've been walking these streets so long,
Singing the same old song
I know every crack in these dirty sidewalks of Broadway
Where hustle's the name of the game
And nice guys get washed away like the snow and the rain.
There's been a load of compromisin'
On the road to my horizon
But I'm gonna be where the lights are shinin' on meeeee
Like a rhinestone cowboy!"
"And sometimes the music doesn't suit the situation."
"Like a rhinestone cow-"
"Enough!" Hades barked, then cleared his throat and spoke calmly into the microphone. "You've been warned."
[OOC: Music will randomly appear out of nowhere throughout the day. Mod your own music. Go easy on explicit lyrics in the comms. Use [microphone feedback] to mask swearing if you have to and because it amuses me like crazy. The voices might pipe down if you ask them to, or they might be annoying and drive you mad. Your call!]
