Sam was in a fantastic mood as he went to open the library. It's possible the excitement over classes starting up again was sending him into bliss overload.

Sam found a few boxes of new books sitting on the main desk, and went about getting them labeled and entered into the computer system.

Entering the new books would probably go a lot faster if Sam didn't stop to read the interesting ones.

One of the new books was a romance novel, and after his conversation with Dawn, he couldn't help but flip through it. Now he was reading the whole thing from the start, and hiding it in a bigger book.

The library was closed for lunch, to everyone except the aides and Thursday.

Yes, Sam was still reading the romance novel, in a boggling kind of way.

Fourth Period [07/09]

Sam was in the stacks, putting all of the new books away. The bell was on the main desk if his attention was needed.

The library was empty while Sam was in class. The doors were locked if no one else was around.

After coming back from class, Sam found that one book had managed to escape being put away (three guesses and the first two don't count), and he thought about checking it out under Isabel's name before biting the bullet and checking it out for himself.
