Detention, Saturday, June 30th.
Coming into the Danger Shop for the detention session, Kenpachi was grinning. True, it was his usual sadomasochistic, baby-eating smirk, but there might actually have been some small threads of genuine joy in between those rows of white, white teeth. He was almost out-grinning the beaming Yachiru on his shoulder. The Danger Shop itself, the students would notice, appeared to be a long stretch of grassy field, occasionally interrupted by a shrub here, a rock there. Behind them seemed to be a squabbling little village. Ahead of them, they would find an odd, odd building. Off in the distance, there stood what could only be described as a strange, white fortress.
"My, my, aren't you all the lucky ones," Kenpachi started out, dangerously happy glint in your eyes. "You see, while I'm sure each and every one of you has done something quite terrible to earn yourselves here in punishment, this is the last of any of you I will ever have to see again. They've finally come to their damned senses and realized that this is not the place for me. In other terms, whatever nonsense they were trying to keep me out of has blown over and I can return to the Soul Society. So help me, I never in a million years thought I'd miss it until I came here. And, this being detention, I hope this means I get the roughest, toughest, worst that this pit has to offer, but, getting a look at the likes of you," his eye passed over the assembled students, especially...was that a frog? "I seriously doubt it. Try not to disappoint me."
"This," he continued, sweeping out his arms, "is the Soul Society. A part of it, anyway. This little exercise I've put together for you is like a little situation that happened before I came here, when a group of ryoka thought they could just parade in here and rescue someone. Ryoka...a term used for people who enter the Soul Society that are not dead. Today, you are ryoka. You are here to rescue someone."
"It will not be easy," Kenpachi warned them. "The person you are to rescue--"
"She's a princess!" Yachiru interrupted brightly.
Kenpachi groaned, rolling his eyes. "Fine, fine, this princess you are going to rescue is there." He whipped out his sword and pointed toward the fortress. "The Seireitei. This is the place where Shinigami such as Yachiru and myself reside. A place where normal souls are not supposed to go. More specifically, this princess will be there...That tall white tower. That is the Senzaikyu. In order to get to the Senzaikyu, you must first get the the Seireitei. The only conventional way to do that is to not only get past the guards at the gates, but also any Shinigami that might come investigate the break-in. The first ryoka tried this and failed, but they found another way in."
The smirk seemed to grow. Telling a whole new group of people how to cause chaos in the Soul Society just felt so wonderfully antagonistic. He cocked his head toward the strange house nearby. "Kuukaku Shiba. That's your ticket. You are to go to Shiba, get into the Seireitei, and save the...princess. Don't expect it to be easy. This is just a simulation, but there will be two obstacles waiting for you within. Be prepared. Give me something good to go back with."
Kenpachi waved his hand at them dismissively as he turned and started to walk away. "You're on your own now," he said. "Go."
"Good luck saving the princess!" Yachiru waved at them brightly as Kenpachi lead her away.

[[hold it right there! Wait for the OCD, you! ]]
[[ OCD is up! The following detention will involve a lot of events taken directly from Bleach. Detentioners? Each thread is set up to follow the preceding one, so things'll go smoother if you don't ping into any of them until the previous one is complete. The except to this is lunch, of course! hehe. Each of those threads are designed so that you ping in, and something will happen in my response. HAVE FUN, DARN IT! I'm going to catch some Zs in a little bit, but will be around all Saturday to ping and play! ]]

Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
A glance upward would show Adam two men (http://s208.photobucket.com/albums/bb3/skylieicons/?action=view¤t=Untitled-4.jpg) above him before they landed down on the street. The bald one landed with a little dance. "Lucky, lucky me!" he sang. "It's my lucky day!"
His voice became sharply serious as he looked at Adam and pointed the hilt of his weapon his way. "But it's not so lucky for you."
Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
"I'm not looking for trouble," He tried, having a feeling it would come down to a fight.
Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
The singing and dancing was starting again, as the balm man started tip-toeing around Adam. "Luh-luh, luh-luh, luh-luh-luh, luh-luh-luh, luh-luh...!"
He ended up in front of Adam, dropping down into a crouch and, holding his sword between his hands, held it out before him.
"LUCKY!!!"
Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
Adam fell into a fighting stance, remembering that he could use his shield if he needed to. "You sure we can talk about this?" He tried, once more.
Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
"What? I was dancing the Luh-luh-luh-lucky Dance to give you time to crawl out of here, and you want to talk? Don't you recognize generosity of spirit when you see it? Talking won't make you any luckier!"
Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
while his mun laughed due to the awesome icon, frowning. "I can't leave. I'm here to help a friend and I'm not leaving until I've found them," He insisted, watching both men.Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
"Huh?" The bald man grew quiet for a moment. "That's true." He rounded on Adam. "Alright, you. You have until I finish my dance!"
And it started. Again.
Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
"It doesn't appear that way, no..." The other one agreed.
The bald headed one started bouncing from foot to foot, sword over her shoulders. "Why didn't you run? If you don't run, I'll just have to fight you."
He crouched down in a ready position, pulling the sword from its sheath.

Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
[I'm assuming he's only holding it with one hand?]
Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
The kick connected, hurting like a bitch, but the bald man kept a hold on his sword. He let out a small shout of pain, using the energy to try to jam his sheath at Adam's face.
Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
[Yep, he sure is! ;)]
Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
He was, after all, 11th Division.
Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
He flipped forward, aiming a flying sidekick at Ikkaku's chest.
Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
Adam went for a leg sweep, hoping to catch him off guard.
Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
Adam would barely have a second to either take advantage of the bald man's surprise or turn to look before dozens more Shinigami descended into the streets on them like flies over a carcass.
"Told you they'd come soon," the other man said with a sigh.
Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
He didn't let up from his fighting stance, though. He wasn't sure if Ikkaku was going to try something.
Re: Step Four : Explore the Seireitei.
The only options seemed to be getting absolutely trampled or slipping into an alley (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/1429660.html?thread=86831004#t86831004) conveniently nearby.
