How to Annoy Your Teachers (And Not Get Turned Into Animals) [Week 7, Period 2]

Class was held in the Danger Shop today after John sent out a handwavy email. As the students entered the Danger Shop, they'll notice a more subdued John this time around. Whether it's because his most awesome class is ending or other things is a mystery. If asked, he'd blame the first one.

"Hey guys," he said, smiling. "Last class. Thanks so much for making this class so much fun for me and so annoying for the other teachers. If you've even managed to make a teacher frown in annoyance than my job here is done."

He managed a small smile. "For the last class, I was going to have us all go lob bombs but someone," he said, looking at Sokka, "already did that. So, we're going to annoy someone special."

John grinned. "Hope you guys have had fun. I know I have."

"THAT'S AWESOME!!!!" Sokka shouted gleefully. "HIGH FIVE!"

He put his hand up and swung it at Wilbur -- he was GOING to high-five him whether he wanted to or not.

Wilbur put his hand up more as a defensive measure than anything else.

Sokka slapped Wilbur's hand hard.

"I'M SOKKA!!!! WHAT'S YOUR NAME, MISTER SPIFFYHEAD???!?!?"

Wilbur shook his hand, trying to stop it from aching. "It's not Mister Spiffyhead."

Sokka bounced gleefully and gave Wilbur a big, suffocating hug. "HI NOTMISTER SPIFFYHEAD!!! DO YOU WANT TO SING A SONG?!?!?!?"

"Oh dear god," Wilbur groaned. "Why are you hugging me?"

"BECAUSE YOU'RE MY NEW FRIEND!!!!" Sokka squeezed him tighter and started singing. "HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY! HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY JOY!!!!"

"Get away from me!" Wilbur was frantically trying to disengage Sokka from him. "Stop clinging!"

Sokka clung tighter. "OOH, THAT TICKLES NOTMISTER SPIFFYHEAD!!!!" he shrieked. And then he went back to singing. "YOU ARE MY FRIEND, AND I AM YOUR FRIEND, AND WE ARE FRIENDS TOOOGEEEEEEEEEETHER!!!"

Sokka stopped squeezing him, and instead grabbed Wilbur's hands and started bouncing and dancing.

And then Wilbur disappeared and John was left staring at Sokka.

"You're...really damn good at this."

Sokka bounced gleefully. "YAAAAAY! THAT'S AWESOME!!!! I HAVE A PRESENT FOR YOU!!!"

He pulled out an exploding tag and handed it to John.
