Construction Site: Friday 6/22, all day

Today there are actual hammers! And nails! And power-tools! And something to actually do with all that wood so not dirty. Specifically, door-frames for some of the already-repaired walls, while the crew from NPC Construction is working on the more devastated sections of the building.

New equipment, new safety lecture. This one's short, though. "If monsters attack, feel free to use the nail-gun on 'em. Otherwise, keep it pointed at the wood."

Oooooooooooooooooh. Pneumatic nail-guns. Conner always liked watching them use these things on home improvement shows, so he was more than happy to get his shot (no pun intended . . . okay, okay, pun intended) at using one himself.

He always did think they were a little bit sexier when wielded by oh, say, Amy Wynn Pastor, but hey. He did his best to look sexy while shooting nails into doorframe pieces.
