"Heeeeeeeey students." said Buster after everyone had sat down. He was sitting on a picnic table, surrounded by a few cardboard boxes. He picked at his hook nervously.

"Okay, kids here's a life lesson for you: Life sucks. It sucks and then sucks some more. Horrible things are going to happen to you suddenly and there's nothing you can do about it." said Buster. He was going for the "tough love" approach today.

"Maybe you'll get stuck in a low-level office job for twenty years, maybe a crazy psychopath will try to kill you, maybe you'll have to stop a bomb from exploding." he said. "Maybe you'll get your hand bitten off by a seal because your brother is an idiot."

"The point is, something horrible is going to happen to you. The sooner you accept this the less surprised you will be when it happens." he said. "So today we're going to have an activity that vaguely mirrors the lecture but not really."

"So in these boxes are some items." he said. He began to rifle through the box. "Eyepatches, fake hands, fake hooks, bald caps...I want you to pick one and wear it for the rest of the day. You'll get to learn what it's like to be unfortunate and I'll get to laugh at you. We all win!"

It's scary when Buster gets serious, isn't it?

Peter thought the odds of a psychopath trying to kill him were pretty small.

Dawn resisted the urge to look over her shoulder to see who was after her now.

Warren kind of wanted to offer Buster some juice and a cupcake to make him feel better.

He didn't have any, though.

Summer shuddered at the mention of a crazy psychopath.

Like Jim would ever find himself in a low-level office job. Please.

There's eyepatches, fake hands, hooks, bald caps. For some reason there's a pair of clown shoes in there. All sorts of ~~moddable~~ stuff to make you look like a dork.

Try not to stab anyone with the hook.

Peter decided to go with an eyepatch. Because why not?

Dawn selected an arm sling and a fake hand, then put them both on her left, since that would make it easier for her to maneuver.

Warren pulled out an eyepatch. And then, because he figured the T.A. should be an over achiever, he pulled out another.

Now he couldn't see anything.

There might have been a flaw in his logic, somewhere. . . .

Summer looked through the box of weird things. She just kind of stared in horror at the clown shoes. Eventually, she chose a fake hand.

Shawn looked pretty horrified by most of the choices in that box. In the end, he picked out another eyepatch. It seemed the lesser of several evils.

Clown shoes. Definitely the clown shoes.

He was going to have to find people to kick.

Once he pings in.

Warren was here ~~albeit a bit late in the afternoon because, um, wooooork~~. He's very good at picking up other people's moods, so he's likely to be fatalistic and depressed. Wheeee!

He's way too excited about making you all wear eyepatches.

Because Buster doesn't need to be blamed for the end of the world.

Dude, Buster totally needs to stab Warren accidentally before this session ends. . . .
