Construction Site: Monday 6-18: All Day

The usual safety gear and tools are set out, but today instead of bricks to lay not dirty there are stacks of wood that need to be cut.

"Yeah, I'm letting you use the sharp objects today," Xander says with a small smile, proceeding into a rather extended and handwavy safety lecture. And then there's no smile. "Screw around near them and you'll be outta here so fast your ass'll give off sparks when it hits the sidewalk."

There's safety guides. There's lumber in several sizes with the lengths for cutting actually marked out on the boards. There's a Xander watching more closely than usual; he's not kidding about the sharp objects.

And there's a pink-hatted Conner being ridiculously ginger about handling said sharp objects; while he may be an almost football-hooligan caliber fan of the color red, he is not exactly a fan of it when it's his own blood in places it should not be.

Namely, anywhere outside of his own circulatory system.
