Construction Site [Wednesday]

As the students approached the construction site today, they might notice a different hard hat on Fraser's head. Seems he didn't want to miss the customized hard hat invasion that he'd heard about.

"Good morning," he greeted. "Welcome to another day. Please equip yourselves with the provided safety equipment and get right to work. If you happen to see a rather large hipped man in red pajamas, please let me know immediately so I can arrest him."

Fraser wouldn't really arrest him.

"With that, please be safe and come find me should you have any questions."

Phoebe bit her lip and then looked down. "You're usually always serious unless..."

Cole laughed a little. "I guess I relax more then," he said.

Sometimes a little too relaxed.

"But... you're always so serious usually," she said with a soft smile. "You do need to relax more."

"I relax when I'm with you," Cole said, squeezing her hand. "You make me feel human."

Phoebe put an arm around his waist. "You're you and I love you."

Phoebe smiled and snuggled against him. "I know you do, sweetheart."

"You're so beautiful," Cole said, touching his hand gently to her face.

Phoebe blushed and leaned into his hand. "I think you're pretty handsome, yourself."

"Bright One," Cole murmured, dipping his head to kiss her.

"Beloved lord," she whsipered as she pulled him close to her.

"I'd give you the world if I could, you know," he said, nuzzling her shoulder.

"I don't need the world, Cole, I just need you," she said, kissing his hair.

"Then I'm right here and I'm not going anywhere," Cole said, pulling Phoebe into his lap.

Phoebe got comfortable in his lap. "I'm very glad to hear that, love."

"I almost lost you when I was the Source . . . or when you were a mermaid . . . or when I was just too stupid to realize how I felt about you," Cole said. "I don't want that to ever happen again."

She leaned against his chest comfortably and lay her head on his shoulder. She enjoyed hearing him talk like this.

"I know how you feel, sweetheart. You've risked so much to be with me and to love me... just it's nice hearing it, sometimes, too."
