Construction Site [Wednesday]

As the students approached the construction site today, they might notice a different hard hat on Fraser's head. Seems he didn't want to miss the customized hard hat invasion that he'd heard about.

"Good morning," he greeted. "Welcome to another day. Please equip yourselves with the provided safety equipment and get right to work. If you happen to see a rather large hipped man in red pajamas, please let me know immediately so I can arrest him."

Fraser wouldn't really arrest him.

"With that, please be safe and come find me should you have any questions."

He and his awesome hard hat are here.

That hat was like a siren song.

Plus? His hips were perfectly proportional to his body and the Mountie needed to stop listening to Celine Dion and getting high on maple syrup.

That made so much more sense in his mind, really it did.

Anyway! Deadpool! Ninjaing! But not in the night (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Up52vMdqiHE). Since it was day time and there was no cable to steal.

Which would honestly be so much easier if he didn't narrate every damn thought that popped into his head.

"I should get some smoke bombs..."

Fraser didn't notice him at first but he did feel a disturbance ~~in the Force~~ around the area. He put it off to the construction equipment though.

~~As if millions of voices cried out at once for Bea Arthur and were suddenly silenced...~~

He had to time his correctly, there wouldn't be any second chances. Okay, so maybe there would be second chances, but that didn't mean he wanted to try it again. That would just get old.

Maybe.

Hopping up on nearby equipment, he waited for Fraser to get into range before pouncing and grabbing that awesome hat.

Fraser looked up. Seeing nothing, he looked back down and went over some more notes on his clipboard.

His awesome hard hat glistened in the sun.

And that's when Deadpool pounced, hands out to grab the hat. "FOR CANADA!"

Fraser whirled around and couldn't stop the 'oh no, a big hipped red pajama wearing maniac is jumping at me' look. He had no time to grab his hat though.

Treasure grabbed, Deadpool rolled as he hit the ground behind Fraser. "But not Quebec because nobody likes them! They're like the Basque region only less bomb-y."

"Hey!" Fraser whirled again and started walking towards Deadpool. "That's mine!"

"Not anymore!" Deadpool hugged the hat to his chest and got to his feet. He grinned and bounced away from Fraser, trying the hat on. "Oooo! And it's a perfect fit too! Like Cinderella only with guys and a hat and red and Canada. And no cutting off of body parts."

"Give it back," Fraser said, trying to reach for the hat.

And away went the hat behind his back. "Nuh-uh! Like I'm gonna give up such a wonderful and patriotic hat!"

"Are you mentally impaired?" Fraser asked. "That is mine!"

"I am and no it's not. Finders keepers!"

"You found it on my head, you idiot," Fraser snapped.

"And now I'm keeping it," Deadpool replied cheerfully.

"You are not," Fraser said and dove for the hat.

Deadpool stumbled back. "Hey! No fair! Was busy celebrating my victory!"

"This is not a victory," he said, still making grabby hands for his hat.

"And yet I continue to do a victory dance," Deadpool said, doing the cabbage patch and then the robot, hat still in hand.

Fraser threw his clipboard at Deadpool.

"VICTORY!" Then he got hit. "Ow. Uncalled for."

With that, Deadpool took off with the hat. The wonderful, wonderful hat.
