Construction Site [Monday]

Fraser's moderately distracted when the students arrive to the construction site this morning. He keeps glancing behind him and to both the left and right of him. That might have something to do with the fact that the last time he was here, he got bombed by the smelliest balloons one ever smelled.

And there would be revenge. Fraser hadn't quite figured out what to do but there would be revenge even if it meant hiring a skywriter to proclaim something undignified about Deadpool's hips.

"Good morning," Fraser greeted. "And we're back to work today. Progress is on schedule. Please take a hard hat, tool belt and goggles before starting work. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask."

With that, he smiled and continued looking around.

"That . . . makes sense," Anders said slowly. "I guess."

He poked at his food a bit, eating a mouthful or two more, before saying quietly, "You know I care about you for more than just the physical stuff."

Argh. Yet again, argh. Anders gave up on trying to push the matter for now, because he might start trying to poke his eyes out with chopsticks or something.

He opted, instead, for leaning over to put his head on Bel's shoulder.

And sniffed.

". . . how come you smell like you've been using Phoebe's bath stuff?"

Bel glared. "I was out of my stuff!" he protested.

Anders snickered. "Dork. Could've used some of mine, since it's up there."

"I didn't see it behind all the girly stuff," Bel grumbled. "Seriously, how many bottles of stuff do girls need in the shower?"

"Hell of a lot, apparently, Anders said, shaking his head. "Just give me a bar of soap and some shampoo, man, I'm good to go. Still, she smells nice so I'm not complaining too much."

"She does," Bel agreed, smiling a little goofily. "But this minty stuff is not for me. But it was either that or pomegranate. I'll look for your stuff when I'm done working."
