DISCUSION TOPIC FOR BOTH CLASSES:
Women and Violent Crime

Women are statistically less likely to commit violent crimes, including homicide. Why do you feel this is true, or do you feel that we are studying these numbers in the wrong way?

The argument could be made that men have some sort of primal instinct that makes them more prone to violence, or that women simply have more sense. In my experience, though, humans in general have really no sense at all. I think it's because women tend to be better at coping with things- I have seen men when they get sick, so it's probably just an extreme version of that mentality. Or maybe we just have better things to do with our time.
