"Hey guys!" There was coffee, shockingly, out for the students, and a large, white banner lying out.

It read "MOST FAVORITEST VICE PRINCIPAL" but was blank otherwise.

"Today, we're talking about using glitter to decorate for someone else -- like for a party, or something like that. You want to make sure it's tasteful and that it won't get all over people, but also, keep in mind that the person might really like glitter. Like our favorite Vice Principal, who loves the stuff." She pointed at the glittery art supplies. "So we're decorating that for him, to make his office more bright. Use all the glitter, sequins, pipe cleaners, feathers, beads and ~~other moddable items~~ et cetera you'd like. The shinier the better in this case, but remember, it's important to know your audience. If this were for my friend Aeryn, I wouldn't use nearly as much glitter because I know she doesn't like it. Hades, on the other hand, likes sparkles more than a drag queen on the Vegas strip. Really."

"So, first I want to hear how you all used the glitter from last week, and then we're going to decorate this for the Veep. Oh! And if any of you are in John Crichton's class? Make sure to tell him about this for credit. Um, not that we're annoying anyone. Really."

"I, um, sparkled it in Jack's plant," Cedric said. "On top of the dirt. It made the dirt sparkle."

Rory offered a sad little smile. "Sparkly dirt is the best kind, really."

"Watch," Luke said with a pleased smile and he poured the container out into his hand and closed his eyes.

A moment later a sparkling ball rose from his palm and hovered above him.

Rory grinned. "Wow. I've never seen anyone do that before, Lukey." There was just a hint of affectionate sarcasm there, yes.

Luke stuck his tongue out without opening his eyes. "You've never seen me do it before," he said, "and I'm much better at it than he is."

They both knew that wasn't exactly true.

Rory raised her brow. "It's still impressive. Good work."

Luke grinned at her as he let the ball collapse back into glitter. "Thanks. I should see if Jaina knows how to do that."

"I got distracted," Donnie said sheepishly. "I still have it though. If I end up doing something with it, can I let you know then?"

"Absolutely," Rory said. "Don't worry about it, seriously."

Katara had watched Luke with big eyes. "Okay, it's not so cool as Luke's, but..."

She pulled a flow of water out of her waterskin and dumped some glitter in it. Swirling it up to mix, she spun the water into a little glittering tornado.

"That is so as cool as Luke's," Rory replied, staring in awe. "I certainly can't do it."

"Yeah, but I need the water to make the glitter move. He can bend the glitter on his own."

She grinned at Rory. "It's really, really useful for this though." And she held the ball of glittery water up and pushed it hard at the wall where it splatted to make a big wet, glitter mark.

Rory laughed. "Have you used that on people?"

"Not yet," she said. "I'm waiting for a good opportunity to get get Zuko or maybe my brother unless someone else deserves it first."

"You should do it to Master Skywalker," Rory said solemnly. "I'll give you extra credit!"

"You don't think he'd be upset?" Katara asked worriedly. "He was a really good teacher and really, really nice to me. And he always seems kinda sad. I wouldn't want to make him mad."

Rory lifted half her mouth in a smile. "He does seem sad, doesn't he? This would cheer him up. If you actually want do it, just tell him I sent you. I promise he won't be mad. He's kind of a dork like that. Plus he can do the thing Luke just did so it wouldn't even bother him to clean it up."

She frowned slightly but couldn't see a reason why Rory would lie to her. "If you think he wouldn't mind, maybe I could," she said thoughtfully.

Rory grinned. "Yay. I mean, you don't have to, but it's a lot more effective than me running over and throwing a glittery water balloon or something. Though I could do that too. Solidarity, sister! Or something."

"I could do it from farther away at least," Katara said. She thought for a moment. "Ooooh, if I had a LOT of glitter, I could almost make a glitter wave and completely soak and glitter him. ....That would probably be a bit too much though, I'm guessing."

"No such thing when it comes to Anakin," Rory said, shaking her head. "So you can manipulate water like that? Like, as much as you want?"

"Yep!" Katara said happily. "I'm a waterbender. So any type of water, ice, all of that."

"What if it gets really humid?" Rory wondered. "Can you pull it out of the air?"

"Maybe?" Katara said, tilting her head. "What do you mean by humid?"
