There was a note in their normal meeting place that they were all to meet in the park.

Once everyone gathered around, Yondaime walked down from one of the trees, yes walked down the side of it, and out onto the middle of the pond. No folks, he couldn’t turn water into wine.

With a quick flurry of his hands there was suddenly five of him, all standing on the water. “These are some of the basic ninja techniques where I come from. Some of which might help you retrieve the scrolls from my home, which I have to say there are still quite a few of,” he smirked and walked towards the shore of the pond.

“With enough practice, concentration and control, I think each of you could be able to do these things.” He said confidently and passed out several flyers describing how to control their chakra and energies to be able to perform the said skills.

“I want you all to work together in teams or pairs on how to do this. Try to work on making copies of yourself fist, and then move on to walking up the trees and on the water. Kabuto has a lot of practice with these, so if you have problems ask him, or I, and we’ll be glad to help.”

"Now the key to this and tree walking is to focus all your energy into your feet, if you focus the right amount, it will keep you afloat and be like you are just walking through a shallow puddle."

A lot like walking on water. "I suggest you get a running start when first starting this one. You want the engery in your feet to make you stick to the tree."

He's there if you have any questions before and after class.

So there is no exploding of the world.

"Just don't smack into the tree," Kabuto advised.

Teddy stared blankly at the flyers. This was so not going to work.

Kabuto didn't really need to practice, but walking on water was one of those easy things that he still enjoyed doing. It was like practicing scales on a musical instrument.

Kabuto smiled at Teddy. "It's easier than it looks," he assured him.

Teddy, unlike a certain evil ninja show off, was currently treading water instead of walking on it.

"I don't think this chakra thing works for me."

Dib

Surprisingly enough Teddy did not look all that reassured. "I hope so."

Kabuto was perfectly willing to help anybody who wanted to ask him.

Dib was amazed at Yondaime's jutsu. He watched the demonstration, staring. Once he got the handouts, he read through them with excitement, eager to try chakra conversion for himself.

Arashi smiled. "You can do it, you just need to practice and focus. It's not difficult, but it's easier to practise with cloning than it is walking on water. That takes higher levels of control."

Dib took in the advice of both the Prof and the TA. "Focus energy in my feet, focus energy in my feet...don't smack into the tree!" He ran at the tree, jumped up, took a couple steps from momentum-
-annd fell right down on his butt.

Teddy sank a bit in the water so everything just below his mouth was submerged. "Can't I just swim?"

Nooooo! But I like the world! And just where will we buy a replacement?
