Construction Site: Tuesday 5/29, All Day

Today, the hardhat choices are yellow, pink, or that one. Yes, Xander took the Stetson home.

Tools and safety equipment are set up near the least-crispy classroom section, this time, and there's plaster mix ready for repairing the walls that don't have any structural damage. The heavy equipment is not too distant, ~~NPC~~ workers busy with the areas that got hit a lot harder.

Xander holds up a pair of safety goggles, then points to his eyepatch. "Do I really have to tell you guys that you're gonna want both of yours -- or all if you've got extra eyes I don't know about and probably don't want to -- for as long as you can hang onto 'em? No? Good. Wear your goggles. This has been a public service announcement from the National Committee For Duh."

For the eatings of foods! Open to workers and their guests.

Shortly before lunch, Bridge leaves his ogling spot and runs in to town. When he comes back, he's carrying a small cooler over to the lunch area. Three guesses as to who he's going to share the contents of said cooler with. And the first two don't count.

Xander guesses. "Hmm. You brought lunch for Conner ~~assuming he's here~~?"

Bridge frowns. "No. Not that he's not nice and all and deserves a lunch, but he can find someone else to bring it."

"Bel, then?"

"He's got his own lunch," Bridge says, still frowning.

"I guess that must be for me, then."

"Of *course* it is," Bridge says, clearly exasperated.

Xander snickers, just a little.

Bridge sighs. And opens the cooler to reveal sandwiches, drinks, and his own personal favourite part of the lunch: two ice cream bars.

"Did you ever know that you're my hero?"

Bridge laughs. "Ice cream equals heroism now?" The song reference went completely over his head. Dork.

"Can you think of a superhero you'd love more than one whose mission in life was delivering ice cream?"

Bel picked a spot and waited for his lunch to arrive.

He may have been getting too used to this.

Phoebe did indeed come out from the Arms to bring Cole lunch.

Cole stretched out on the grass and laid his head in Phoebe's lap. "Feed me?" he said, batting his eyes at her.

Phoebe laughed softly, stroking his hair. "I have fruits and sandwiches in here. What would you like first?"

"Grapes?" Cole asked hopefully.

And of course, his girlfriend did have grapes for him.

"I also have strawberries."

"You're too good to me," Cole sighed.

"It's because I love you," she said with a smile as she started feeing him the fruit.

"I could get used to this," Cole said contentedly, lifting his head just slightly to bite at the food she held.

"It's nice being able to take care of you for once," she murmured softly.

"It's nice to be taken care of," Cole said, smiling up at her.

Phoebe stroked his face. "I like it."

Usually, it was him taking care of her and keeping her safe. It wasn't often she got to take care of him.
