Abby was once again twirling her black parasol as she waited for the students. Today the table with boxes of supplies had a clothes rack with skirts, dresses and corsets nearby. There was also severals cups of Caf-Pow waiting in a row.

"You guys did a great job on making Bel goth-tastic last week." Abby grimaced and shook her head. "Uh...rewind. Forget I added 'tastic' to the end of a word, please. I'm a little embarrassed."

"Moving on! Today we're going to going to focus on making a girl goth." Abby pointed to where Molly was standing, wearing a neutral outfit. "Now, this is different from how you worked on a boy. There's hair to deal with which is always fun. Spikes, mohawks, and I'm partial to pigtails. You can add more color to her face like red eyeshadow or lips. Never pink, of course. Pink makes baby goth Jesus cry."

Grabbing a laser pointer, she trained it on a poster board with a smiley face on it. A very badly drawn smiley face. Shrugging a little, Abby smiled at the class. "As you can see, I'm not so good with the drawing stuff. Just pretend it doesn't look a cross-eyed, brillo-haired monster."

Starting at the hair and working her way down, Abby talked about how to turn a regular girl into a goth. When she was finished, she grinned at the class. "Any questions? Then grab a Caf-Pow and a mascara pen and go get Molly!"

"You believe me now?" Molly asked, a bit surprised considering his previous denial. "It's okay. I know there's a lot to get used to here. It's not like you called me names or anything."

Warren nodded and shrugged at the same time. "I don't know, I guess I have to, I've been . . . I haven't been able to think about anything else all week, just this girl, and she made this thing, and it--it--VWOOOSH!--and I could walk into another cabin that wasn't right there except it was, because of the VWOOOSH! And you can't DO that, not without, like, camera cuts and CGI and those effects aren't THAT good and--oh god, I'm turning into a babbling wreck."

Molly reached out to pat Warren on the arm. "Don't try too hard to figure everything out right away. You're brain will break. There's time enough to take everything in slowly."

Warren looked down at her hand, then at the lipstick he was holding. "I'll try not to let my existential crisis ruin your make-over."

Molly chuckled again. "Just remember, I know where you sleep for the rest of the week," she warned teasingly.

"Eeeesh. Well. Um. Like you said, at least make-up washes off?"

"I'm teasing!" Molly said with a laugh.

"Let's get this makeup thing started."

"Right! Right. I totally knew that. Um." Warren looked down at the lipstick. "Bright, kinda blood-colored red is good for you, right?"

Molly nodded. "Blood red is very goth."

Warren held out the lipstick. "Then let's get to it, I guess. Um, I've never done this before."

Molly held out her hand. "Should I put it on?"

"That's, um, probably a good idea. I might be able to do your hair?"

"Okay, but you have to tell me if I've got enough lipstick on. Do you have a mirror for me?"

Warren patted himself down before realizing he didn't carry a compact. "Hang on a sec." He found one in the pile of supplies and brought it over. "Here."

Using the mirror, Molly applied the blood red lipstick. "There. Is this good enough or is there a special way to apply goth lipstick?"

Warren looked. "I think it's just the color that does it."

"Okay, cool. What else have you got for me?"

"Um . . . pig-tails?"

"Go for it!" Molly said.

Warren nodded once, showing more confidence than he actually had. He grabbed two red and black feathered hair-ties and set to work.

Molly sat still and hoped that he didn't pull her hair too much.

He was rather certain that if he did, he'd get smacked, so he was being rather excessively careful. As such, the pigtails may have ended up lopsided and rather loose, with lots of hair hanging outside of the ties.

That could be a goth look, though, right?

Molly looked in the mirror. "It's a little... messy, isn't it?"

"Oh, um, well, I did that on purpose? To give it a kind of goth-punk-grunge kind of look?"

Molly gave him a look. "You don't sound too sure about that."
