At the front of the classrom she stands, looking well rested and as professional as ever...except that she's wearing a man's button down shirt and a tie...with a denim skirt.

caroline_todd are the only students enrolled in this class. Today is devoted to a discussion of whether to continue with only 2 students, or if they can transfer into 201.

*When you enter there are two paper cups on your desk. They both have the same amount of a clear, odorless liquid. On the board is written: DO NOT DRINK FROM THE CUPS!!!*
I had this unit planned long before the events of the weekend, and I think it is particularly fitting that it's happening now. This weekend was an excellent bonding experience...you know, like paintball war games but with...*blinks*...moving on.
Ok, trust.
Trust effects the manner and efficiency of communication. But what does that mean? In the traditional sender/message/receiver paradigm, in order for the message to be conveyed clearly there is a level of trust that is required between the sender and receiver. This is why advertisers use *uses air quotes* doctors in ads for pain medication. This is why used car salesmen talk about cutting a deal. A level of trust makes..and this relates to last week...trust helps facilitate influence and persuasion.
Ok, so the trust game. In front of you are two cups. You may ask me 5 questions to decide which one to drink and which one to dump. If you trust me now, you will believe what I say, if you don't, you won't. Either way, Dr. House has been made aware of this game and is standing by.
Fire away.
((ooc:each player ask in a new thread please. It'll help keep the confusion to a minimum...like how the Tick's interviews went. You know.))

*Jack thinks for a moment*
In this particular instance should I trust what you wrote on the board about not drinking the from these particular cups sitting in front of me over anything you may be about to tell me regarding otherwise?

Will drinking the liquid that is in either of the cups sitting in front of me at this exact instant cause me physical harm and/or a possible allergic reaction?
no subject
Hmmm...maybe? I want to say no, but allergies are hinky. Yeah I can't promise a no, but I say no.

Addendum: Will drinking the liquid that is in either of the cups sitting in front of me at this exact instant cause me physical harm and/or a possible allergic reaction if I am allergic to Sulfar (http://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/sulfur), peanuts, or chickpeas?

[OOC: Poor Jack, damn him for trusting you! Surprisingly his trust is hard to get rid of, mainly because it's even harder to get in th first place.]
