Construction Site [Tuesday - All Day]

When the students come upon the construction this morning, they'll notice hard hats(all of them yellow) and tool belts waiting for them. Once they've equipped themselves, Fraser makes his way over (still out of uniform) to greet them.

"Still doing the same thing as yesterday," he said, "which is prepping the site for the eventual reconstruction of the school. There might be some bulldozers moving around the area so please be careful."

He nodded at the small group.

"Other than that, continue working as you did yesterday and I'll be around should you have any questions at all."

Anders had a second period workshop, but as soon as that was over he came down to join her.

Binoculars in hand.

"Hey, you," he said with a grin.

Phoebe leaned into him more. "Go crazy like your witch is currently doing?"

Phoebe looked up at him with a grin. "Hey you."

"Absolutely stark raving mad," Cole agreed, kissing her again.

Phoebe nodded emphatically. "Need you," she said as she kissed him. "Miss having privacy."

"We'll find some place tonight," Cole promised.

Phoebe curled close to him and lay her head against his chest. "Good," she said with a soft sigh. "No danger of mallets."

Anders leaned over and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before he stretched out on the blanket. "This is the best summer work project ever, isn't it?"

Phoebe nodded, watching Cole as she reached out to run her hand over Anders's hair. "Best ever."

"I've got the binoculars," Anders said distractedly. "Tell me you -- you have the camera. I love you."

She held up her digital camera. "Of course I do."

"Best girlfriend ever." Anders adjusted the focus on his binoculars and held them to his eyes. "My gods, he is way too pretty."

"You're gonna get all sweaty if you keep this close to me," Cole chuckled, playing with Phoebe's hair.

Conner, on the other hand, was here on time, but careful to keep well to the other side of the construction area.

He was still woeful about the yellowness of the hard hats, but oh well.

"I don't care." She murmured. "Want to be held by you for a little while before you have to go back to work."

Phoebe grinned. "Yes, yes he is... and he's ours."

Conner -- still as far away from Bel as possible -- was scarfing down his own lunch in a way that might be guaranteed to score him a massive stomach cramp.

"Lucky us." Anders grinned back at her and tried to fine-tune the focus on the binoculars. "We are so hitting the woods tonight. I've got the camping gear."

Look, there was Gwynn, coming to hang out with Conner on his break. "Hello."

Conner hastily mopped his face (thereby showing he had some semblance of decency, sometimes) on his shirt -- thereby proving how limited that semblance was.

"Gwynn! The girlfriend who's way more awesome than some people's that I'm not going to name!"

. . . yeah, that might've been directed at the other side of the lunch area.

"I can do that," Cole said. He turned her around in his lap and pulled her back against his chest, wrapping his arms around her as he rested his chin on her shoulder.

"Thank god," Phoebe said with feeling.

Gwynn blinked in surprise at his exuberance and then grinned at him. "Hi, Conner. I take it your day is going well?"

Phoebe leaned back against him, relaxing. "Love you."

Cole kissed her neck, murmuring, "Love you, too, sweetheart."
