History Of Witchcraft [Week 1 : Thursday, Period 4, Main Campfire]

Phoebe was standing in front of a chair in front of other chairs that were pulled up around the campfire.

"Hey guys, welcome to History of Witchcraft," she said in a cheerful voice. "I'm Phoebe Halliwell and I'll be your so-called instructor for the next seven weeks. Calling me Phoebe is fine, please do not call me Miss Halliwell." She grinned and looked over at Tori. "Tori Hanson is your TA. Us being cheerful is to be expected as we are both graduates and Gremlin Cheerleaders!" She beamed. "Over the next few weeks we're going to cover some of the definitions of witchcraft, some of the most historical events pertaining to Witchcraft and anything else that we might decide is pertinent to the course."

She sat down and looked at the students.

"Okay, since this is the first workshop, it's going to be a pretty easy day. I want you to tell me who you are, what you hope to get out of this workshop, and what you think the definition of witchcraft is. Also, if there is anything in specific you would like me to teach or touch on in the workshop." She tilted her head. "And yes, before you ask, I do have sufficient knowledge and reason for teaching this workshop. I am a witch and have had to pick up quite a bit of knowledge and scars the hard way." Her eyes clouded for a moment, but then cleared up again. "I'm hoping that I can help you guys get some of this knowledge in a little bit easier of circumstances."

Anders gave his girlfriend a pathetically grateful look and dusted himself off. He scowled slightly at Prue. "I haven't done anything to hurt her, okay?"

"If you had done anything, you wouldn't be in any shape to talk right now." said Prue.

Look, that was indeed the big sister that Phoebe knew and loved.

"Prue? Why are you so mad at him? You haven't even met him yet, really."

"I'm not mad." Just a wee bit annoyed. God help Anders if she ever got mad at him. She looked away from the two of them and sighed. "I'll be nice...ish."

Phoebe was really, really confused. "Prue? What's going on? Why are you upset with him?"

"Oh I don't know Phoebe. I guess I'm kind of weirded out to come here, find my future nephews and have them tell me that you have two boyfriends? One of whom is a-" she had wanted to say 'demon' but she did not want to start that whole Belthazor thing right in the middle of class. "...a jock."

When she said it out loud it did sound kind of petty. "I shouldn't have used my powers on him though. He didn't deserve it. I'm sorry Phoebe...and Anders."

Phoebe shot a glare at her nephews.

"Did they also happen to say how both of them have risked their lives to keep me alive and safe countless times? Or how about how..." She took a deep breath. "We need to talk, Prue. About a lot. Stuff that I cannot do here." Phoebe's eyes clouded over with pain and sadness before she shook it off.

"There's a lot you need to know."

And that just got Prue thinking about how she was lying to her sister. She loosened up a little bit and ran a hand through her hair. "Okay, we'll talk later."
