History Of Witchcraft [Week 1 : Thursday, Period 4, Main Campfire]

Phoebe was standing in front of a chair in front of other chairs that were pulled up around the campfire.

"Hey guys, welcome to History of Witchcraft," she said in a cheerful voice. "I'm Phoebe Halliwell and I'll be your so-called instructor for the next seven weeks. Calling me Phoebe is fine, please do not call me Miss Halliwell." She grinned and looked over at Tori. "Tori Hanson is your TA. Us being cheerful is to be expected as we are both graduates and Gremlin Cheerleaders!" She beamed. "Over the next few weeks we're going to cover some of the definitions of witchcraft, some of the most historical events pertaining to Witchcraft and anything else that we might decide is pertinent to the course."

She sat down and looked at the students.

"Okay, since this is the first workshop, it's going to be a pretty easy day. I want you to tell me who you are, what you hope to get out of this workshop, and what you think the definition of witchcraft is. Also, if there is anything in specific you would like me to teach or touch on in the workshop." She tilted her head. "And yes, before you ask, I do have sufficient knowledge and reason for teaching this workshop. I am a witch and have had to pick up quite a bit of knowledge and scars the hard way." Her eyes clouded for a moment, but then cleared up again. "I'm hoping that I can help you guys get some of this knowledge in a little bit easier of circumstances."

Anders nodded and tried to adopt a stoic expression, but a tiny hint of sad-puppy pout slipped out before he could stop himself.

"I kind of take up enough of your time as it is. I'll be fair to the rest of the class," he said gallantly.

Phoebe giggled softly. "I know it'll be a hard sacrifice."

"Which I am totally willing to make out of love." Anders couldn't hold the stoic expression any longer, and he grinned at her.

"Good so far. Haven't actually blown anything up in Aly's yet, and I've got Flight and Flying tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure this one's going to be my favorite," Anders replied. "Just 'cause."
