New Kid Registration and Check-In - Open Tent Outside the Dorms - All Day Friday

Well, the office was gone, but apparently that didn't mean that the office drones had time off. They were in an open tent outside the dorms processing new students bright and early on Friday morning.

It was a veritable paperwork conga line as the human-looking members of the staff did their thing, along with Fred Trooper, Bucky T. Squirrel, Venus, Bob Gremlin and Roz. You might even see the tech support kitten out and about, trying to keep the computers running. Robert Goulet had a family reunion to go to and couldn't make it.

"Um, okay. That's very . . . reassuring." Could it be? Had he ended up somewhere where everyone was actually bigger loser than he was? He glanced around.

Nope, no way, way too many hot chicks for that to be true.

"It's just, you know, no one told me we could bring weapons. I mean, if I'd've known. . . ." He might have run screaming away. "Well, I've got, like, you know, a knife or two I might have brought. . . ."

Fraser grinned and said, "Well, if you choose to visit home, you can bring them back and store them in our weapons locker."

"Dude, there's seriously a weapon's locker? Like, a locker? Full of . . . weapons?"

Warren's super quick on the uptake, he is. . . .

"Indeed," he answered. "Weapons are not permitted in the dormitories or on the school campus so they're stored in the locker."

Warren nodded, though it was probably clear he was starting to get a little freaked. "Okay, um, good, because my mom would totally kill me if I got shot at summer camp."

"That won't be happening," Fraser said. At least, he hoped it wouldn't. "You will be safe here."

"That's right! I'd better be! I have . . . friends! Lawyer friends! And Ed could totally kick your ass! Oh crap, I just threatened the security guard. Who has lots of weapons. Um, bye!"

And then he fled.
