New Kid Registration and Check-In - Open Tent Outside the Dorms - All Day Friday

Well, the office was gone, but apparently that didn't mean that the office drones had time off. They were in an open tent outside the dorms processing new students bright and early on Friday morning.

It was a veritable paperwork conga line as the human-looking members of the staff did their thing, along with Fred Trooper, Bucky T. Squirrel, Venus, Bob Gremlin and Roz. You might even see the tech support kitten out and about, trying to keep the computers running. Robert Goulet had a family reunion to go to and couldn't make it.

"The school what?" That would certainly explain the rubble.

"Exploded," he said. "Last weekend."

"Does that happen a lot? Explosions, I mean."

"Not on this scale," he said. "We've had a few minor explosions but this was our biggest one yet."

Oh, that was just fantastic. "But the weapons locker has never gotten blown up? I mean, it's safe? I'm kind of attached to my things, not to mention the fact that I can't afford to replace them."

"The weapons locker is secure," he said. "You have my word."

Maybe it was the fact that he was so cute that made him look so trustworthy, or maybe it was just the fact that he was an authority figure, but either way, Abigail figured he wasn't lying, so she finally handed over her bow. "Okay. Thank you."

"Thank you," he returned, storing the bow. "Enjoy your time at Fandom."
