New Kid Registration and Check-In - Open Tent Outside the Dorms - All Day Friday

Well, the office was gone, but apparently that didn't mean that the office drones had time off. They were in an open tent outside the dorms processing new students bright and early on Friday morning.

It was a veritable paperwork conga line as the human-looking members of the staff did their thing, along with Fred Trooper, Bucky T. Squirrel, Venus, Bob Gremlin and Roz. You might even see the tech support kitten out and about, trying to keep the computers running. Robert Goulet had a family reunion to go to and couldn't make it.

[OOC: New students, check in here! Wait for OCD! OCD and pie up. Have at it! General sketchy idea of how the dorms are set out.]

Sabriel wasn't entirely sure how she'd gotten here. "No, I went on a ferry..." she said a little uncertainly. "I fell asleep and when I woke up, I was by the Causeway."

"How odd," Aravis commented curiously. "I was instructed to walk through the Woods, and though I left my companions in Archenland at dusk, it was morning when I crossed to the other side and found myself here. Yet, it had only been a few hours. Archenland is not of this world, though, from what I understand."

"Intriguing," Sabriel decided, and finally spotted an apple pie. She brightened. "Father didn't tell me much about this place, he only said it would be safe and that magic worked here."

"I was sent here as a contact for Archenland," Aravis admitted. "...there's magic here?"

Sabriel called forth a simple charter mark in her mind, holding it there until she felt the tingle of it working, and let it go. She nodded. "Yes. Does it exist in Archenland?"

"Somewhat," she said. "Narnia is where magic truly lives but we have traces of it in the neighboring lands."
