fandomhigh | Fandom High Graduation Ceremony Class of 2007 Part I

The sun was shining high in the sky above the front lawn (not that this would matter to certain members of the audience since there was a nice awning and shaded pathways). A stage was set up with a podium and several seats for the administration and guests. Off to the side of the stage, a guitar for musical performances.

In front of the stage, blue and gold chairs were set for the largest graduating class in Fandom High history (not that it was a tough record to achieve), and to either side of those chairs were bleachers for students, family, friends, alumni, and residents of the town of Fandom who wanted to wtiness this event.

It was a beautiful day for a graduation.

Parker rolled her eyes at her first name being called, but smiled as she got up and walked across the stage anyway, shaking Dean Tick's hand and then grinning gleefully out at the audience, holding the diploma over her head.

"YAAAY! WOOO!"

"GO PARKIE!" Cameron shouted.

Jake clapped, grinning. "Go Parker!"

Fraser smiled and clapped for Parker.

"I know the name!" Darrin said, clapping.

"Wait, I thought Parker was a boy," said Karen, frowning.

Darrin frowned, too. "I thought Parker was his last name."

"Maybe they're related, too?" Karen sighed. "Just clap."

"Go, Parker!" Jaye says, clapping.

Tori grinned at Parker's reaction to getting her diploma. "Way to go Parker!" She cheered and clapped loudly.

Aeryn applauds as Parker makes her way across the stage.

River felt a little sorry for Parker, as she had to endure having her full name announced in public, so River wanted to make up for that by lots of waving.

"YAAAAAAAAAY!" Katara called, her hands starting to hurt from the clapping.

"Miss Parker!" Sydney stood up to clap, looking very proud, wanting to be sure she saw him. He smiled at her friends who were cheering and glanced at her father.

Mr. Parker smiled bright and wide, and stood up when Sydney did, pointing up to the stage. "My daughter," he told anyone around him who could hear him. "A real Parker!"
