The sun was shining high in the sky above the front lawn (not that this would matter to certain members of the audience since there was a nice awning and shaded pathways). A stage was set up with a podium and several seats for the administration and guests. Off to the side of the stage, a guitar for musical performances.

In front of the stage, blue and gold chairs were set for the largest graduating class in Fandom High history (not that it was a tough record to achieve), and to either side of those chairs were bleachers for students, family, friends, alumni, and residents of the town of Fandom who wanted to wtiness this event.

It was a beautiful day for a graduation.

"Hello, my darling," Grams said, giving Piper a hug.

Piper gratefully accepted the hug. "I've missed you."

"And I've missed you, too," Grams said. "How has your new apartment been?"

"It's been good. And I have an awesome roommate," Piper said. "Now that's school's over, I'll have to visit the Manor."

"You are always welcomed home," Grams said. "Anytime you want."

Piper smiled. "I know and I appreciate that."

"Is your young man here as well?" Grams asked.

"Yeah, he's around somewhere," Piper replied.

"And how is that going?" Grams asked. Fishing for an excuse to vanquish her granddaughter's boyfriend? Never.

"Going very well, Grams," Piper replied, somewhat amused. "No need for vanquishing."

Grams harumphed. "Yet," she said.

Piper shook her head and laughed a bit. "Maybe never. It could happen."

"Doubtful," Grams said. "Men are all the same. Just don't let him distract you from your schoolwork."

"I won't, promise," Piper said. "Besides, school is over for now."

"What are your plans for the summer, dear?" Grams asked.

"There's a job opening for a hostess at a nearby restaurant near the apartment," Piper explained. "It's not quite the same as working in the kitchen, but I'm thinking about applying."

"It's a way to get your foot in the door," Grams said. "It could lead to better things."

Piper nodded. "I hope so."

"My darling girl, you are so very special even without your powers," Grams said. "You'll be able to do anything you put your mind to."

Piper smiled. "Thanks for saying so, Grams."

Then she glanced over at Phoebe. "I'm so proud of her."

"So am I," Grams said. "There were times when I thought she'd never make it through high school, what with all the trouble she used to get into."

Piper nodded. "But she worked hard and it definitely paid off."

"She had her big sister as a role model," Grams said affectionately.

Piper beamed. "I tried to be."

"You succeeded," Grams said, giving Piper a pat on the hand.
