Hunting 101 - Class 15 Final Exam (Wednesday Period 7)

When the students entered the Danger Shop they found themselves in a foyer of a large lavish house. There is a staircase going upstairs on the left hand side and on the right a large set of double doors through which could be heard the sounds of music and people talking.

John was leaning against the bottom of the staircase railing. "Good afternoon," he said. "Welcome to your final exam. Beyond those doors over there a party is going on. Unfortunately, it's been invaded by demons, who have possessed one or more party goers. Your final test is to find the demon, trap and exorcise it." He smiled faintly. "You do have one advantage -- the room at the end of the hall at the top of the stairs has a Devil's Trap from the Key of Solomon on the ceiling. There are also various supplies, in a chest in the corner."

John stepped forward and glanced over all of the students. "This is our last class and I'd like to take the opportunity to let you know how much I enjoyed teaching you. I hope you never need to use what you've learned here, but if you do, I know you'll be prepared."

"And now," John grinned wolfishly. "Who's going demon hunting first?"

Parker smiled sweetly at him, and refrained from saying, And the biggest one standing in front of me. "I'm afraid I barely know anyone here, so it isn't the most interesting party I've ever been to. I don't suppose you'd introduce me around?" She gave him a hopeful look, and then smiled flirtatiously. "I'm Parker."

"Gordon Jones. Meghan -- the Dupris' daughter -- is an old friend. She really doesn't fit very well with the rest of her family in that she actually knows how to have fun."

"Always better," Parker said, putting her drink down, and looking thoughtful. "Is she the one who bought that painting, what was it? The Angelus Christo?"

Jones didn't react. "I think that might be her older sister."

One down, the rest of the party to go? Hmm. "Would you mind asking around for me?" Parker brushed her fingers across his shoulder, and gave him her best smile. "I really want to talk to the owner. And ask anyone else, if they know? If you could point out the sister, I would really appreciate it."
