An inhuman, echoing voice bellows through the library, "Do NOT shoot me. It's Medusa. If you need out, I can get you out and to safety."

An enormous snakelike form (http://www.livejournal.com/users/medusae_x/9744.html) pulls up outside the library window, crushing zombie bodies underneath it. Her hands enter the window, jerking the jam right out of the wall and widening the opening. Boiling water pours out underneath her, but she doesn't seem to notice.

"If you want out, climb aboard, and I'll get you into town."
