DAMM - Period 1 Monday - The Final Countdown

Byron appeared before the class in the usual way and bowed to them.

"Greetings students! Today is the day of your Final exam! Follow me! To the DANGER SHOP!"

As the class moved to the danger shop, Byron explained the they would be presented with a situation that they will have to resolve. Each student had to pick at least one door, but could do as many as they like after that. Arcane, alchemical, and mundane items would be available for them to assemble whatever sort of solution might come into their heads.

"Oh ever since some of my apprentices mistakenly summoned a demon while trying to clean my sanctuary I've just not been able to clear my mind."

Sam smirked softly. "Yeah, it's weird how those two things often go together. I can try to get rid of the demon, if you'd like."

"Thank you for the offer young man, but we did manage to vanquish the demon after some difficulty. We might have managed better with your help, but my difficulty now lies in being unable to meditate."

"Have you tried using incense?" Sam suggested. "To either get rid of whatever bad energy the demon probably left behind, or to try to help you get into a more meditative state?"

Will rummaged through her pockets to see what kind of stuff she'd shoved in there earlier. "Uh, no, it kinda looks like I don't. The closest I have is a bunch of nice incense and a discman with a Cobalt Blue's latest collection of rock songs."

Will grabbed the two items out of her pocket and handed them over to the old man.

"There you go! Oh, I will need the discman and CD back when you're done with it, though. I really like those guys, and it's hard to get stuff from unsigned artists here."

The Wizard is able to purify his sanctuary with the incense and the music helps him clear his mind.
