Dueling Club, Tuesday, Danger Shop, 5:00 PM

As per her conversation yesterday with Professor Orpheus, Luna keyed in a sequence to the danger shop that caused it to set up things to look more like a playground than a setting for proper duels.

Because people really didn't need to be dueling when they had children in tow, and Luna had two with her.

Anyone who happened by was completely welcome to come in and enjoy some play time.

[ooc:OPEN TO EVERYONE not just Dueling Club members! OCD is up! Ummm, yeah, I was totally channeling weetiny when I typed Freshments! In my head? Totally said Refreshments! *face.hands*]

"There are lots of mean people." Peri said. "Can you really do magics without a wand?"

"Yes, I can in fact." Byron said making witchy-fingers at the craft table.

Several items floated up into the air and began to assemble themselves into a little crown.

Peri does not ask if witchy-fingers are like spirit-fingers watched with rapt attention.

"Mummy makes jewelry too, but she uses her wand." Peri? Was doing that 'in awe' thing.

"Well, wands are perfectly serviceable. I sometimes use magical paraphernalia myself."

The crown floated over to Peri and hovered in the air before her.

witchy fingers is like "finger wiggle" but with the fingers more bent. If you even saw the Movie "Ed Wood"? It's the thing Bella Lagosi does. "You have to be Hungarian, and you have to be double jointed."

Peri was completely distracted by shiny objects the crown. "Paraf... paree... para what?"

"Paraphernalia... It means... stuff." He said.

"Go ahead and take it dear."

"Are you sure?" Peri asked reaching out for the crown. "And what kind of stuff?"

"Yes certainly. All little girls should have a very sparkly hat." Byron said. "Oh all sorts of stuff. Wands, talismans, charms, pointy hats with moons and stars. That sort of thing."

"Thank you." Peri took the crown and placed it on her head. Then tried out the new word. Not absolutely getting it right, but that was ok, she could grow into it. "Par-a-phe-nal-ia. I like the sound of that."

"It's a good word." Byron nodded. "Rrrrrolls trippingly off the tongue."

Peri nodded, slowly so as not to knock her crown off. "Don't think I can say that one either."

"Well, you can practice. A good vocabulary is worth the effort."
