Turtle came in and dropped a big box onto the table and drew in a deep breath. "H'okay, listen up." She turned an eye sharply around to the others and any potential...children. "Glitter stuff came in, so today's our manual labor day, because we're good little self-made capitalists here." With potential child laborers, bonus. "There's a little instruction chart up on the board to follow, but it's pretty simple. The important part is gonna be the labels. We can bottle 'em up and then tomorrow, come in, grab your supply, and start selling! Make yourselves a projected quota and try to reach it. If you don't, then...I don't know, we cut off your finger? I got nothin'. If you don't, well, then, you suck and are a shame to the club and your country."

She grinned winningly. "Let's work."

She could handle mom's looks, this girl was no problem. "'m Kid. Who're you?"

"Turtle," she answered. "President." She left Kid to believe whatever she wanted as far as what Turtle was the president of.

"You're in Mr. Deadpool's chair."

Kid had met an emperor to be earlier and a her boyfriend was going to take over the world so president was small turkey. She gave Turtle a 'duh' look. "I know."

Yeah, if you didn't like democracy, which was clearly the best.

"Well, why?"

"'Cause I'm waitin' for my dad" Again the 'duh' look.

Turtle met her 'duh' look with an arched eyebrow. "Mr. Deadpool's never mentioned a kid before."

Yes, she knew about the recent invasion of kidlets. But this brat didn't seem cool enough to be Mr. Deadpool's spawn. She didn't even have a cool suit.

Kid glared. "Yeah, well, he never mentioned bein' a teacher before either."

Turtle opened her mouth to refute that, but then realized that Kid had a good point,if it was true, and her mouth closed. And she critically looked at the little girl.

"You're gonna have to move when he gets here, you know."

"I know," Kid replied. But it wasn't like he'd really mind her being there.

Tutle looked at her again for a moment before tossing her some of the glitter making supplies and a bottle and said, "Here. Make yourself useful, then."

Kid frowned down at the supplies. "What's this for?"

"Gremlin Glitter," Turtle told her, doing her best to restrain her own 'duh' look and be the adult one in the situation. "If you want to crash the YE, then you'll be expected to be a YE." Turtle nodded, importantly.

"'ma freelancer not an yeee."

"Oh really?" Turtle said. "I'll hire you then. Make the glitter, and I won't charge you for renting the space of Mr. Deadpool's chair."

Kid put out her hand. "Payment up front."

Turtle blinked at her. "It's a barter, you dork. Your payment is me letting you stay here."
