Rob is mindlessly replaying every cheesy soap opera bedside scene ever. Not that he ever watched Soap Operas. Except for Dark Shadows a couple times, because Jonathan Frid was awesome. "We're gonna get you through this, Parker. Just hold on." He's not crying. Yet.
