Now that the danger is out of the way, the glow of Shane's bracelets begins to dim and, as it does, she and Rogue both return to full visibility, leaving the both of them standing as they had been when the zombie had attacked.

Shane glances over at Beka. "Present from a friend," she murmurs, holding up her wrist so that Beka can see the silver bracelet around her wrist. It's engraved with many strange symbols and appears to be glowing. She wears a matching one on the other wrist.

There's no answer from Dierdre's sentient space-and-time traveling AI.
