As the students came in they would find the usual spread of pastries and coffee, tea and other yummies. Wilson was leaning against the front of his desk, hugging a large stack of papers and wearing a slightly melancholy smile.

"Good morning, everyone. Today I'm going to finish handing back some papers I have from you guys and also a study packet I worked up to help you get ready for your final next week. The final will be held in the Danger Room and like your tests will be a practical application of what you've learned in class this semester."

Straightening, he moved through the class handing back work papers and as promised a packet full of copies of the notes he'd given in class over the past 13 class periods. When he was finished he went back to his desk and picked up his coffee.

"You have this class period to begin studying, you may work in groups ~~boggle at kidlets~~ or alone just realize I expect good scores out of you all on the finals. I wanted to let you all know that I've greatly enjoyed teaching this class this semester and it's been because of the wonderful participation from each and every one of you. Thank you guys and if I don't talk to you before then, have a wonderful summer."

Turning his head and then looking down to the young boy, Wilson smiled warmly.

"Hello, there."

Aiden smiled brightly at him. He was tall. "You're my mommy's teacher!" Yes, he was a smart boy. "I'm Aiden." He introduced himself; it was rude if he didn't. "That's my mommy, over there." He pointed to where Tori was packing up her things.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Aiden," Wilson said politely and he sank down to his knee to be on a more even level with the boy.

Looking over where Aiden pointed, Wilson looked a bit confused since he hadn't been aware that Tori had any children, she had never mentioned anything about it and the boy seemed of an age where Tori would have been very, very young to have...

Okay...stopping that train of thought at the next station.

"Are you here visiting with your mommy?"

"You too." Aiden beamed.

"I am!" He nodded, smiling. "She's younger here, though. But it's okay, 'cause she's still mommy."

"And that's what's important." Wilson agreed, giving Aiden a warm, beaming smile in return for the sunny joyfulness that seemed to radiate from the child.

"It is." Aiden admitted, with a smile and nod. "Mommy's the best mommy in the world. She's taking me shopping and then to the park." He was excited about that.

"Now that sounds like a wonderful time to me, especially our park here. You should ask her to get you some old bread and feed the ducks on the pond. They love to be fed."

Never let it be said that Wilson wouldn't help encourage a bit of fun for wee people.

"Ducks? Yay!" Aiden giggled. He loved ducks. "Oh, yeah. I'll feed them and then they won't be hungry and sad anymore!" He grinned.

"That's very kind of you, Aiden and I know they'll enjoy it," Wilson grinned warmly in response and he just managed to stop himself from reaching up to deliver a hair toussel.

"I hope so." Aiden smiled, happy for the compliment. He love the park and watching the ducks. They were fun.
