"I herd the radio broadcast last night. Having a daughter of my own I can sympathize with your situation. This will be a free study period, or, if any of you have your wee ones with you, I would be happy to answer their questions. I'm sure my TAs would as well.

The only thing I have to say on the subject of having children while engaging in a battle against darker forces is that you firstly keep them safe. Your home should be a veritable cornucopia of protective measures both mundane and arcane. Never underestimate the value of a good old fashioned, ear splitting, alarm.

And secondly, you must be firm with them! Do not give into their demands! Particularly if they want their own bathroom and the only room with one is in the northeast corner of the house."

"I thought I told you about safe sex, Chris," Wyatt said. "Who's her mother?"

"Luna," Chris replied. "I also have a son with my roommate. His name is Matthew. He apparently likes to play with you."

Wyatt snickered. This was getting far too amusing. "Did you tell Mom she's a grandmother yet?"

"I... might have left her a flaily message when Matthew showed up," Chris admitted. "And that was before I found Peri."

"Dad? Can we call Grandma after class?" Peri asked, her eyes full of hope.

"Just make sure Grandma has a nice stiff drink first," Wyatt snickered.

"Can we stop by your room later?" Chris asked. "Matthew wants to see you."

"That would be my new nephew?" Wyatt said. "You named him after me?"

"Apparently," Chris replied. "His middle name is Ryan, I think that's a friend of Summer's."

"Aww, I'm touched," Wyatt said. "Do they both have powers?"

"They can both orb," Chris said. "And Peri can do the same kind of magic as Luna, too."

"Wanna see, Uncle Wyatt?" Peri asked, bouncing in her chair a little.

"Sure, show me what you've got," Wyatt said.

"Not in class!" Chris argued. "You can show Uncle Wyatt later."

He might have glared at his brother a little.

"It's okay, you can show me," Wyatt said. "Your dad's just no fun."

"Wyatt!" Chris said. "Please tell me we don't let him babysit you?" he asked Peri.

"Mum always says that I shouldn't listen to him," Peri said. "She says he's a bad influence. But I think he's fun!"

Wyatt grinned. "And you're my favorite niece," he said. "I bet I spoil you."

"And you probably teach her all sorts of bad things," Chris added.

He blinked. "Wait. You didn't have any kids show up calling you Daddy? How is that possible?"

"Because I practice safe sex?" Wyatt said. "Either that or I'm immune to Fandom weirdness. I didn't turn into a girl, either, unlike you."

"That's totally unfair," Chris whined. "And it's not like I randomly got girls knocked up. I'm apparently married to each of their mothers in their respective universes."

"I'm just special," Wyatt said. "But at least you're not alone. Aunt Phoebe had kids and I ran into some weird girl who said she was the daughter of Grandpa Victor and Cally."

"Yeah, she showed up at my door yesterday," Chris said. "Think she's telling the truth? She did kinda look like a Halliwell."

"Do you really think Grandpa got it on with a teenage girl?" Wyatt said with a little bit of a shudder.

Chris made a face. "Maybe it's one of those weird time things? Like with us running into teenage versions of mom and our aunts?"
