The only thing I have to say on the subject of having children while engaging in a battle against darker forces is that you firstly keep them safe. Your home should be a veritable cornucopia of protective measures both mundane and arcane. Never underestimate the value of a good old fashioned, ear splitting, alarm.

And secondly, you must be firm with them! Do not give into their demands! Particularly if they want their own bathroom and the only room with one is in the northeast corner of the house."

Jo scratched the back of her neck. "Well, kinda, yeah, apparently I have two," she said. "Didn't you hear the radio last night?"

"No," Wyatt said, "I fell asleep before it aired and haven't had a chance to listen to the podcast. So, um, who's her father?"

Willa for her part, grinned and waved at Wyatt. "Hi!"

"Hi," Wyatt said, waving back. He looked at Jo. "Does this have anything to do with that kid who was claiming she was my aunt and the one who said she was my mom's roommate's daughter? There are kids all over the place for some reason."

"Pretty much, yeah," Jo said. "Overnight I went from an only child to having three younger siblings, and one those is Sam's too."

Yeah, she still wasn't entirely over that.
