::Ash leads his ragtag band of Edward Elric, Number Six, Chihaya, Aeryn Sun, Cameron Mitchell, and Cally across the grounds::

::Their goal is to reach the Dorm Tower::

::Their obstacle is the numerous hordes of zombies between them::

::This is the tale of that struggle::

Watching as the sword sliced through the neck, Chihaya's mouth was open. "I need me one of those," he said looking at his stick. As another zombie shambled foward, his wings beat hard and he whacked at the zombie until it, too, stopped moving.

Edward glanced up at the one flying over his head. "Did I hear you needed a weapon?" he called, using a light-post to swing himself back around and remove several pieces of zombie from its shuffling body.

"I got a stick!" Chihaya said, hitting on the next zombie. "But it's getting kind of gross."

Edward paused by the lamp-post for a moment, clapping his hands together as best he could with his arm blade, then putting his hands on the post. He withdrew from it a long, fully-metal spear with a decorative dragon as the cross-bar. He used the haft of the spear to repel a zombie who decided that since he stopped stabbing he must be tasty, then tossed the weapon into the air. "Here!"

That done, Edward gave the now-depleted lamp-post a good kick, knocking it clear off its base. "TIMBER!"

"Don't suppose you got another sword in there, do you?" Cameron asked as he saw Edward hand over the spear.

"That I can do, if you can keep the zombies off me for a second," Edward called back, moving to the fallen lamp-post.

Another clap, and he withdrew a straight, double-edged sword from the twisted remains of the pole. "Will this do?"

Cameron was shooting the zombies approaching Edward and grinned. "Should do nicely, I'm thinking I should save ammo for later on." With a grin he accepted the sword and tried it out on another fast moving zombie, cutting off its head. "Thanks, man."

Kid, you have got some wonderful skills... ::runs the chainsaw through a zombie attempting to sneak up on Ed::

Glad to have you aboard, knucklehead.

Chihaya swooped down and caught the spear in the air. "Thanks!" he said cheerfully as it impaled a zombie. "This will work a little better."

::looks up::

Holy crap, kid. You can fly?!

Chihaya's wings kicked up the air, swirling the horrid smell of putrid bodies. "Yes sir!" he said with a wave. Diving over the top of the coach, he ran another zombie's head through with his spear.

::thinks for a second, while impaling a zombie with his chainsaw::

Hey... uhh... how much do you think you can lift?

Whacking on a zombie, Chihaya lifted to get away from his grasping hands. "I can't hold on to much but if you can hold to me, I can lift you."

Got it... Let's wait 'til we're closer, though.
::knees a Zombie in the gut, then slices off its head:: Don't want to strain you too badly.

"OK!" Chihaya said, flapping off to take on another zombie. "Let me know when!" He soared in a high arc and dove down onto a head, driving it into the ground.

Right kid... Will do.

::brings the chainsaw right through a Zombie, going from the groin up::

Oooooh, that woulda hurt if you were alive, meatbag!
