In a tower room (not Principal Connor's)

Rory Paris shoves open a door after walking up seemingly thousands of stairs. She had already nearly slapped Logan Aaron on a couple occasions, but had decided it wasn't worth her energy. They were on a mission.

The room is small, and dusty, and Paris immediately positions herself in front of the window, peering through a pair of binoculars.

"John, there's something descending and it doesn't look good. The highest tower room - looks like some kind of swirling vortex," Aaron says into the radio.

"Hey! Is that gun you brought just for looking pretty, or are you going to USE IT?" Paris shouts, cocking her own gun and taking aim. For some reason, her fingers don't fit the trigger the way she's used to - they seem too long and thin - but she manages to shoot several zombies down anyway.

Aaron raises his shotgun. Taking careful aim, he points it out the window and manages to take the head of a zombie. "Ha!" he shouts, and pulls the shotgun back to reload.

"Nice antique. Did you get it from Davy Crockett?" Paris shouts, shooting down three more zombies with her automatic.

Within the zombie army he begins to see strange glints, as though the faint light were reflecting off of something.

Then a mass of zombies steps forward and he can see why:

They've got weapons.

"Oh. Shit," Paris says. "Get down!" she screams, pushing Aaron down onto the floor so that they won't be seen.

"Hey! Give that back," Paris says, snatching the radio from Aaron. "Colonel? I saw them approaching but someone had get trigger-happy over that thing announced over the PA system. But yes, I repeat, we have zombies.. Over."
