Alpha Beta Gremlin Meeting, Tuesday [6:00 PM FHT]

"Hi girls," Summer greeted as everyone arrived. "First of all, I want to thank everyone for making the slumber party a success on Saturday. It was a lot of fun. If anyone has ideas for another social activity, let me know. Also, spring will be here before we know it, so we should probably discuss our service project."

"And have some pizza if you want," she continued, pointing at a nearby table.

"I love J, GOB." She tilted her head. "Had I known, I would have picked them up for you." Annette didn't think anyone should have to get their own cake for their birthday.

She grinned a little, "Dick Casablancas. Know him? We've been officially dating now since March 21st."

"They're made of awesome." D nodded. "Awe, thanks, that's alright, I could use the exercise. Spent the whole weekend indoors."

"No, I don't think so." D frowned slightly, trying to remember if she knew the guy. "Congratulations!"

"I pretty much kept indoors too; sprained my ankle so I didn't do a whole lot."

Annette kept a dorky grin on her face, "Thanks, he's pretty cool. And funny. Got to love the funny."

"Ouch! How'd you manage that?" D smiled because she'd been there. "I'm more about the snarky, but funny is pretty good too."

"Heel caught in a crack in the sidewalk and I sort of kept walking before I realized it." She grinned a little sheepishly. "And I think he combines the both. He's sort of great like that."

"I'm glad you're all better and walking and stuff" D said. "Sounds like things are going well then."

"They are, thanks D." She said. "And everything is going good with you too?"

"Welcome." D's smile faltered for just a moment. "I think so...? Not sure yet."

She raised a brow, "I've been there...know how that feels."

"Sucks, huh?" D asked.

"Like a sucky thing." She said. "If there's anything you want to talk about, I'll sit quietly."

"There's this guy I really like," D said with a shrug, "I'm just not sure how he feels about me, ya know?"

Annette nodded; she had been in that same position with Dick before he finally asked her out on their first date. "I know exactly how that goes. I'm not the sort to just flat out ask either, I mean, what if he was to tell me something I didn't want to hear? That's how it was with Dick before he asked me out."

"Yeah. Exactly." D said. "I mean, we're a little beyond dating, but there were other things involved and asking feels weird. So, waiting..."

"That's a problem for me too. I'm not very patient. I try. But it hardly ever works out for me. I wish you much luck, D."

D laughed, "Thanks, Annette."

"No problem." She grinned a little sheepishly. "Not sure I helped but hey, if all else fells just attack him. I think if I am ever in that situation again, I'm going to attack him cause even if he tells me what I don't want to hear? I will have at least kissed him crazy first."

D laughed again. She probably wouldn't get anywhere with that approach as that's pretty much what had got her to the place where was now, but she wasn't going to point that out. "I'll let you know how it goes."

Annette grinned, "Thanks, D."
