Alpha Beta Gremlin Meeting, Tuesday [6:00 PM FHT]

"Hi girls," Summer greeted as everyone arrived. "First of all, I want to thank everyone for making the slumber party a success on Saturday. It was a lot of fun. If anyone has ideas for another social activity, let me know. Also, spring will be here before we know it, so we should probably discuss our service project."

"And have some pizza if you want," she continued, pointing at a nearby table.

"...or maybe a dance? No, nevermind that. There is the prom coming up. Hmm, well we'll just have to sit and think about this."

"I'm all for sponsoring something," Willow said. "But maybe non-denominational? I'm sure there's fun stuff that we can do that isn't related to a religion."

"Oh. Right." Annette clearly wasn't thinking about the Easter thing. She was just thinking eggs, and rolling, and racing.

"Umm, a pool party? It is getting warm enough now during the days..."

"That could be fun," Willow said. "Or a beach picnic. Oo! Or croquet! I've always wanted to do that. It seemed like fun."

"A beach picnic, even better!" Annette smiled. "Croquet is fun, really."

"Have you played?" Willow asked.

"Oh, yes. It was a favorite of my parents, especially during garden and lawn parties. We would play starting early afternoon on into dusk."

"Then we should absolutely do this," Willow said. "You could teach me, and we could have tea and little nibbly things to make it all very posh."

"Rightly so," Annette grinned. "With our wide-brimmed hats and day gowns, and ribbons galore!"

"Ooo, yes!" Willow said. "Do you think there should be lacy gloves as well?"

"Ah, the open finger gloves, Willow, to allow for us to hold better! There might even be some who willingly offer to wave banana leafs for us if we exert ourselves too much."

"Like the boys?"

"Yes, indeed. And they can be shirtless if you want, and wearing those little leaf things that cover their...and it would be...fitting for the moment. And we could drink tall glasses of lemonade too with our little yappy doggies running around."

"Though hopefully Jamie will be better by then," Willow said, her mind having very specific thoughts regarding yappy dogs.

Annette raised her brows. "Jamie? Is a yappy dog?"

"At the moment," Willow said. "He got hit by some kind of spell. I tried to reverse it but no luck."

"Dang." And because she had to ask. "Is there more than one yappy dog? If he wants?"

I don't know," Willow admitted. "We were mostly focused on getting rid of the spell. Not that we had any luck there. I'm going to keep researching though."

"...if I could help, I would. I am useless in the spell department." Which was a complete understatement in itself.

"I'll let you know if I need an extra hand with the research," Willow said with a smile. "Anybody can do research stuff. No magic required."

"Oh, I can do research. I'm studious like that, Willow." Annette nodded, smiling.

"Excellent," Willow said. "If we have a research party I'll make sure you're invited."

"Thank you, Willow." Annette said with a warm smile.
