Captain Liberty is looking better than last week, but she's still not braving the Danger Shop. "Good morning, class. Today we're going to talk about a little subject called finding your niche in the superheroing world. Which, okay, let's be honest. Most superheroes don't have one, and just fight whatever bad guy there is mediocrely and then they all kinda mix together in your head.

"So what makes you stand out? Some of you have powers you can use to help you there. Do you have a goal? Do you like fighting petty robberies more than villains? Do you have a nemesis you'd probably be known for tangling with? Or are you more likely to be seen on the cover of Star in some kind of skeezy love triangle with Lindsay Lohan? I've got a worksheet here to fill out, so work with your classmates if there's something you need to figure out, but turn this in at the end of class. I'm not grading on spelling or sentence structure, just how well you know how you want to use your skills. So... have at it." She's still not cool.

Jamie sighed and put his face down on his paws. //Well it's worth a shot. I don't suppose you could write a name tag for me could you? I'm sick of bashing my head against the wall to show people who I am.//

//Sure.// John found an index card and wrote in black magic marker JAMIE. He found a piece of stray string and tied the nametag around Jamie's neck, loose.

//Thank you!// Jamie said sounding relieved. //Now I won't have to duplicate to let people know who I am. Oh... and how are doing these days? Is your head all right?//

This was weird. //Better, thanks. This ain't the best time, but I'm sorry for hurting you. Really. And thanks for helping Aeryn out with me.//

//You didn't hurt me. That thing in your head did,// Jamie yipped. //Besides, any Stickbug would have done the same.//

This was followed by Jamie thumping his paw against his chest in a typical Stickbug salute.

And the Stickbug salute was followed by John doing the same and then breaking down into laughter. //Yeah, the thing in my head. Good thing you can duplicate. You probably saved me.//

//Dude, get me a ham sandwich and we'll call it even,// Jamie yelped. //Hermione tried to feed me cat food last night.//

//At least she tried?// John dug into his pocket. //I've got some Tic Tacs?//

//I don't think Tic Tacs are going to make a dent with this breath,// Jamie yipped in reply. //Thanks anyway.//

//You are awfully cute,// John said, not being able to resist.

//Well at least I have that going for me,// Jamie replied. //Just shoot me if you ever see me drinking out a toilet.//

//Will do.// John rubbed his head again. //Need anything else?//

And there was more legging thumping. Damn it. It felt good but Jamie needed to figure out how to control this.

//Nah. I'll figure out a way somehow. Thanks for the name tag.//

John nodded. //If you need anything, you can come to 238. I'll make Bertram go with you if you need any help.//
