	A Defense Against Malicious Magic class wasn't exactly Briana's idea offun, but she had seen the dark-haired boy she had caught sight of lastnight go in there. Naturally, she decided to follow him. Besides, itwould give her a chance to see if this teacher was a threat to her andher friends.
	"Hey," Chris said, noticing Phoebe sit down next to him. "Wyatt and I were trying to find you this weekend."
	"You were?" Briana questioned, leaning close. "Was something the matter?"
	"Well..." Chris said. "We had a spell backfire on us. But we fixed it."
	Now that was interesting. "A spell? What kind of spell?"
	Chris sighed. "One to strike Cally mute," he admitted. "But it made me deaf and Wyatt blind, too."
	Briana laughed. "I am guessing that wasn't exactly what the two of you had intended to do?"
	"Not so much," Chris said. "But we managed to reverse it."
	Briana leaned closer and reached up to smooth Chris' hair back. "It must have been quite the traumatic occurence for you."
	Chris blinked and pulled back. "What are you doing?"
	"Such a lovely and supple body you have," Briana said with a smile, leaning forward more and kissing him.
	"Aunt Phoebe! What the hell are you doing?" Chris asked, pulling away from her and staring at her with mild disgust in his eyes.
	Briana glared at him. He was turning her down? Hereeyes flared purple as she pointed at him with her index and smallfingers. A small pink ball of energy hovered above her. "Liberate bestia!" (Set free the wild animal!)
	And within moments, Chris was gone and there was a pig in his place. The pig snorted wildly, headbutting Phoebe's leg.

Right about then is when Orpheus walks into the room.

"I'm sorry to be later then usual students, but I can't help but shake this feeling that something is amiss and I.... Oh my goodness look at that, one of our number has been transformed into a swine! This is... Splendid! Today's class was scheduled to be about curses and the breaking thereof."

Reading material about curses and ways to brake them is passed out.

"When they don't involve an act of atonement for some wrong doing on the part of the cursed. Most curse breaking techniques involve breaking, kissing, killing, or 'cleansing' something. Now since we're lucky enough to have a cursed individual in our midst, your assignment for today is to try and break the enchantment."

Byron made witchyfingers at the pig, causing it to glow pink and levitate up to the front of the class.

"Have at it."

Wyatt stared at Chris and Phoebe. W. T. F.

Chris oinked helplessly at his brother.

"Aunt Phoebe, what the frakking hell are you doing?" Wyatt demanded, staring at his brother the pig.

Briana looked at him. "You're not so bad either," she said, licking her bottom lip.

Wyatt leaned back. "Just turn him back, okay?"

Briana thought about this. "He turned me down. It wasn't a very nice thing to do."

For some reason, she hadn't found the part of Phoebe's memories that screamed "NEPHEWS OMG!"

"Umm, ewww?" Wyatt said. "He's your sister's son! That's gross! What the frak is wrong with you?"

Briana sighed and looked towards the door. "Maybe there is something more entertaining out there," she mused out loud.

Wyatt flailed a little. "I'm gonna -- I'm gonna tell Mom," he said.

"And tell her what, exactly?"

Draco wondered how much trouble he'd get in if he started up a chorus of Old McDonald right now.

Pig have teeth, right?

Luna took her share of notes and occasionally looked down to see how the poor fellow was doing.

Bridge is attempting to take notes. This is made somewhat difficult by the fact that he's currently wearing very thick mittens.

Door eyes Bridge's hands. "Are those new?"

"Yeah," Bridge says, not looking up from his paper. "Trying to block stuff out. It's... not going too well, though."

"Aren't your gloves working?" Door remembers when he'd had the opposite problem, and wonders if it's got the same source. "You didn't get shot at by that fellow with the horn again, did you?"

"They stopped working sometime yesterday," Bridge says. "And I don't *think* it could be him. Unless he's figured out how to turn invisible. And he probably would've gone after Z too, and I haven't heard anything from her," though now he's worried. Maybe he should call her...

Door glances at her handouts, then back at Bridge. "So you've been hearing people's thoughts even when you don't want to?"

Jo glared at Phoebe and muttered under her breath. It may have sounded a lot like "Not allowed to stab fellow students on campus, not allowed to stab fellow students."

Briana tilted her head at the girl in confusion and sighed. Okay, so maybe some rules about the 21st century were not exactly the most fun. Isobel did say they shouldn't do anything that might get them sent back into the Abyss.

"He's cuter this way," she muttered before wandering away.

Dawn stared at Chris and was thinking about the only curse she knew about. Unfortunately, she didn't think that applied in this case.

Sam was taking notes and trying not to snicker at Chris's misfortune. Poor guy.

Will took a lot of notes during the lecture. She wasn't that familiar with curses, and hoped that some good solutions might be mentioned.
