When the students entered the Danger Shop, they found themselves in standing in the middle of a port which, from the view out all of the windows, appeared to be floating in outer space. Men and women alike were milling around, bringing cargo into the building, or taking it outside to the waiting spacecrafts.

Zoe was leaning against a stack of boxes, solemnly cutting an apple into quarters, and checking off everyone's names as they came in.

Once everyone had arrived, she smiled and addressed the group.

"Hi boys. Thanks for coming. I know most of you didn't do much of anything to get here, so I'm grateful that you showed up anyway," she said. "Today, you're going to get some experience in the exciting field of outer space transport. Just to make sure everyone's on the same page, here's how the story starts: as strapping young members of the Independents - those are the good guys, for the record - it's been getting harder and harder for you to find good, paying work without the Alliance - those are the bad guys - looking over your shoulders. Luckily, one of your contacts has told you about a man who needs some cargo...quietly removed from a train, and he's decided that you're the man for the job."

"Sign in, and then go through the main door there," Zoe continued, pointing. "Tell the guard you're here for a meeting with Adelei Niska. Accept the job offer that he gives you, and you'll get the rest of your instructions from there."

"Good, good," Niska said, going to bring up the image of the train on the computerized screen on his desk. "This train goes from Hancock to Paradiso. On the fifth car are two boxes of Alliance goods. They must be removed from the train before you arrive at Paradiso. You will meet Crow here, with the goods," he said, showing them the rendezvous point outside of town. "You give us boxes, you get money. Sounds easy, yes?"

"Considering you're using simple words, yeah, pretty much," Dean agreed.

Niska laughed, but didn't sound particularly joyful. "You are very headstrong. I like that in a young man. But you do not respect your elders. That is not healthy, if you understand my meaning."

"I give respect where it's deserved," Dean said. "Where I get respect. Reciprocation is a lovely thing."

Sam glared at Dean. Simulation or not, there was no need for him to act like this. "Dude, shut up."

"No, it is all right," Niska said quickly. "I agree. Reciprocation is a wonderful thing. That is how I have built my reputation. People do jobs for me, and they are rewarded. People don't do jobs for me, and they are punished. Appropriate reciprocation for work done or not done." He stood back a little, glancing between the two of them. "I do not want to have to worry that you will not do the job."

"Ask anyone," Dean said spreading his hands. "The Winchesters finish what they start."

"Excellent!" Niska said, handing over their train tickets. "Then I look forward to seeing the two of you with my goods later."

"And we look forward to seeing you with our money," Dean said, taking the tickets. "Come on, Sammy."

Sam gave Niska an apologetic look before following Dean out.
