Chess Club, 3/29 5pm FHT

Ami was standing in the front of the room.

"Hi everyone. I have handouts again, if anyone needs them." She glanced around.

"But no one should need them, because really, we have all learned to play to some extent now. I think what we need to do now is have a tournament. Lets break into pairs and cut out number in half, and next week we can do the next bracket."

Billy did the math as he captured one of her pawns. "About the same as me."

Alanna nodded and a made a move ready to capture his bishop. "Any other weapons?"

"Throwing stars, and firearms before that." He actually managed to spot the move, and countered. Possibly badly.

Alanna calmly took is bishop. "Dagger, axe, and crossbow for me."

"Dang." he said as he lost his bishop. Ah well. "I've a bit of experience with a knife, mostly throwing." He attempted to go on the offensive.

"I don't like knives as much as say, my sword, but I can get by. Learned how to use a gun here a bit."

"I like my sword better than knives too. Though the one I have now was a gift, so I kinda like it."
